Great house to rent for ski vacation

The best VRBO house I have ever stayed in. Very accurate in the descriptions. Very beautiful and comfortable. Four old friends spent 4 days there and really enjoyed it. Easy to get on and off slope. Dial-a-ride worked perfectly. Ate dinner in Telluride every night. Was able to call the owner easily with questions. Owner provides things such as trail maps and hand warmers. I'll be back! I had a rental car, but didn't need it. Could have just taken shuttle from airport and used dial-a-ride.

Great Escape

We had 12 members of our family at 134 Polecat for our daughters wedding. My wife was concerned about staying away from the wedding party which was housed at the Mountain Inn This proved to be no problem. Dial a Ride was fast and easy and met our every need. Additionally, the drive to both Mountain Village and Telluride were easy and convenient. The home was fantastic and could not have been more comfortable. The furnishing were all clean, fresh and up to date. The kitchen was very well stocked, so much so that our guests were surprised that the pantry had almost everything we wanted. The kitchen and garage refrigerators provided plenty of cold storage and ice for a diverse group. While we had no children with us, the home would be great for families with kids. The stock of towels, blankets and pillows was very good so no one was wanting for comfort in their rooms. Even though we were not there for skiing we will return in the future for Polecat and Telluride are high on our list of places to which we want to return.

Beautiful comfort in Telluride

This is the best ski in/ski out our group has ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and comfortable. I celebrated my 40th birthday this last week in this luxury log home. I had 12 of my close friends with me and we had a wonderful time. When we arrived we had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the kitchen and snacks in the pantry to munch on till we could get to the grocery store. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. A lot of space for all to sit down for meals. We had a lot of good dinners that week after great ski days. Rooms were very large and the furnishings and decor were out of a "magazine". Would love to book another stay in the summer months!!!!

Vacation of a Life time

We are a family of 5 and have been skiing with another family of 5 for the last 10 years. We have stayed in almost every major ski resort over the years and this trip was one of the best! This was in large part due to this amazing home. The size, location and furnishings were perfect. It provided the warmth of our own home as well as amenities that we rarely find in other rental homes. The kitchen was magnificent, opening into the dining room and providing the perfect place to eat, drink and socialize. I would encourage anyone looking for a beautiful vacation home to make memories to check this home out.

We stayed at 134 Polecat Ln for two weeks in early January 2011. In every way it exceeded what were already very high expectations. Kim & Linh were wonderful hosts who helped both while we were there and in the planning of our trip. The house was exceptionally well presented on our arrival. Dial-a-Ride is a very efficient service for the nights that we wanted to go out and we had no delays either on pick ups in town or at the house. We were a group which included 7 children and the house was sufficiently large for them to all be accommodated both during the evening and for sleeping. We are all looking forward to another opportunity to stay in this house

Winter wonderland

What a beautiful spot for a family reunion. We celebrated Christmas with our family from ages 1-83 and great fun was had by all. The owners were very helpful with the house and area and supplied an informative guide book. After four days of snow, the runs near the house opened and we were able to ski out and into the house. Would love to return again and again.

Beautiful Home/Amazing Location We had last minute problems with another rental in Mountain Village, which fortunately led us to Polecat. Honestly, we could not have been much more pleased with the circumstances. The house is spacious, and appropriately decorated; the setting is quiet and serene, yet easily accessed. The shuttle service takes all the pressure out of transporting yourself to/fromsa Mountain Village. Kim & Linh are very professional in managing the house, and make the rental process very streamlined. Our guests were so thrilled with the time they spent here that it was unanimously decided that we should return in the winter as well, to revisit Polecat.

The property was magnificent. It looked just like the pictures only better. My extended family of 14 stayed there and we all had plenty of room. We plan on staying here again next summer.
