Our group had a wonderful time. Thanks to Kim and Lihn for being so responsive and such gracious hosts. They have really thought of everything. The house is well stocked and in a great location for ski in access. Our children especially enjoyed the loft, toys, and movies. We miss the sunshine and slopes of Telluride already.

Spectacular house!

Our large group, included 4 babies ranging in age from 6 to 15 months, stayed in this beautiful house for a week and we couldn't have asked for more! The layout was fantastic with a spectacular master suite and two comfortable living areas for the kids to enjoy. The views from the great room were amazing and when it clouded up we were able to sit in front of the fire and watch the snow fall (and boy did it fall!) The kitchen was so fully stocked that most of the spices and canned goods that we purchased on our way in had to be left there for the next group as we didn't need to use them. The ski-in/ski-out was very easy as we just walked 2 min to the lift line to ski out and we were able to ski directly in to the side door. Overall we couldn't have asked for more and will be definitely staying in this house again if/when we return to Telluride!

Another Wonderful Experience

This was our second stay at this absolutely beautiful home, and we hope to return again soon! The owners know how to treat their guests. From the fully stocked kitchen to the extra hand warmers for cold days on the mountain, they did not overlook a thing. As one person in our group remarked, "these owners should give a seminar to other property owners on how to operate a rental home." The location is suberb, with a little snow we were easily able to ski in and out directly to lift 10. The mountain shuttle is free and in a few short minutes your are in the center of Mountain Village or the free gondola to downtown Telluride. The home is ideal for a large family or a group, with plenty of room for privacy. The large kitchen/dining area is open to the family room, so there is plenty of room for socializing. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful home, thanks to the friendly owners!

Great house to rent for ski vacation

The best VRBO house I have ever stayed in. Very accurate in the descriptions. Very beautiful and comfortable. Four old friends spent 4 days there and really enjoyed it. Easy to get on and off slope. Dial-a-ride worked perfectly. Ate dinner in Telluride every night. Was able to call the owner easily with questions. Owner provides things such as trail maps and hand warmers. I'll be back! I had a rental car, but didn't need it. Could have just taken shuttle from airport and used dial-a-ride.

Great Escape

We had 12 members of our family at 134 Polecat for our daughters wedding. My wife was concerned about staying away from the wedding party which was housed at the Mountain Inn This proved to be no problem. Dial a Ride was fast and easy and met our every need. Additionally, the drive to both Mountain Village and Telluride were easy and convenient. The home was fantastic and could not have been more comfortable. The furnishing were all clean, fresh and up to date. The kitchen was very well stocked, so much so that our guests were surprised that the pantry had almost everything we wanted. The kitchen and garage refrigerators provided plenty of cold storage and ice for a diverse group. While we had no children with us, the home would be great for families with kids. The stock of towels, blankets and pillows was very good so no one was wanting for comfort in their rooms. Even though we were not there for skiing we will return in the future for Polecat and Telluride are high on our list of places to which we want to return.

Beautiful comfort in Telluride

This is the best ski in/ski out our group has ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and comfortable. I celebrated my 40th birthday this last week in this luxury log home. I had 12 of my close friends with me and we had a wonderful time. When we arrived we had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the kitchen and snacks in the pantry to munch on till we could get to the grocery store. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. A lot of space for all to sit down for meals. We had a lot of good dinners that week after great ski days. Rooms were very large and the furnishings and decor were out of a "magazine". Would love to book another stay in the summer months!!!!

Two Family Groups

We stayed at 134 Polecat Ln for two weeks in early January 2011. In every way it exceeded what were already very high expectations. Kim & Linh were wonderful hosts who helped both while we were there and in the planning of our trip. The house was exceptionally well presented on our arrival. Dial-a-Ride is a very efficient service for the nights that we wanted to go out and we had no delays either on pick ups in town or at the house. We were a group which included 7 children and the house was sufficiently large for them to all be accommodated both during the evening and for sleeping. We are all looking forward to another opportunity to stay in this house

Vacation of a Life time

We are a family of 5 and have been skiing with another family of 5 for the last 10 years. We have stayed in almost every major ski resort over the years and this trip was one of the best! This was in large part due to this amazing home. The size, location and furnishings were perfect. It provided the warmth of our own home as well as amenities that we rarely find in other rental homes. The kitchen was magnificent, opening into the dining room and providing the perfect place to eat, drink and socialize. I would encourage anyone looking for a beautiful vacation home to make memories to check this home out.

Winter wonderland

What a beautiful spot for a family reunion. We celebrated Christmas with our family from ages 1-83 and great fun was had by all. The owners were very helpful with the house and area and supplied an informative guide book. After four days of snow, the runs near the house opened and we were able to ski out and into the house. Would love to return again and again.

Beautiful Home/Amazing Location We had last minute problems with another rental in Mountain Village, which fortunately led us to Polecat. Honestly, we could not have been much more pleased with the circumstances. The house is spacious, and appropriately decorated; the setting is quiet and serene, yet easily accessed. The shuttle service takes all the pressure out of transporting yourself to/fromsa Mountain Village. Kim & Linh are very professional in managing the house, and make the rental process very streamlined. Our guests were so thrilled with the time they spent here that it was unanimously decided that we should return in the winter as well, to revisit Polecat.

We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience staying in this wonderful home. It offered all the amenities (ski-in/ski-out, ski lockers, excellent kitchen, hot tub, elegant finishes throughout) and the owners were fabulous to work with setting up the details for our stay. Everyone in our party had lots of room and private space while the central portions of the house allowed for all of us to spend time with one another eating, watching movies, or taking in the spectacular scenery. I would recommend this home to any of my family and friends and our next trip to Telluride will most definitely involve this property. Thank you so much for such a pleasant vacation.

This large and lovely home is near the circular end of a quiet street in one of the best locations in Mountain Village. In the summer, it's a short hike down a ski run to the grocery store and gondola station. In the winter, you're just one house removed from the slopes. The home itself has a terrific layout, with most of the living space on the main floor that extends from a private and grand master suite, through an office, through a large great room with excellent mountain views, through the dining room and kitchen, to three more bedrooms/guest suites at the other end of the house. Upstairs is large play loft/sleeping area in full view of and communication with the main floor great room. Downstairs is yet another guest suite, ski storage area, laundry room and garage. The home is very well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen (best coffee maker I've encountered), nice linens, and comfy attractive furnishings. We spent five weeks in the house and it was wonderful. Kim and Linh (whom we had the good fortune to host in their own home one evening) have anticipated the needs of those staying in their home should take well-deserved pride in providing everything their guests should require and desire for a terrific and memorable vacation in Telluride.

Comment Text: Our family rented this house for a ski week for my husband's 60th birthday. It was everything we hoped for and more. The house was perfectly cared for and had more than what we expected. We love to cook and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with quality cookware and appliances. We used the hot tub daily and the steam room in the master bedroom was a real surprise and well used by many of us. The ski-in and out worked perfectly and the heated ski equipment room a real bonus. Of special note is the efficient and complete communication with the Nguyen family. From the first phone call through the instructions about the house to the return of the deposit... every step (mostly through e-mail) was thorough and to the point. I would rent this house again in a second!

This is a terrific house and the owners are extremely helpful. We were a group of two families...four parents and six kids. The house accommodated us perfectly with extra space since some of the kids enjoyed staying up in the loft. There were many wonderful amenities including robes, bath toiletries, hand warmers, hot drinks, snacks, trail maps, etc. The owners provided lots of helpful tips about how to access the slopes (easily from the house) and favorite restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

The House was amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and actually got married in the Great Room. It was a beautiful location for a small intimate wedding. The House is the perfect size for 11 adults (two slept in the loft), and could accommodate a few more. The location is ideal, right off of the Double Cabins ski run. So close in fact that we returned to the house for lunch during our ski days. The Dial-a-Ride service in Mountain Village was very fast and will take you anywhere in MV, no car needed. We looked at many rental houses in Mountain Village and Telluride before picking 134 Polecat, and we were very happy with our choice. We can’t wait to return.

Our Telluride wedding experience could not have been better in large part due to the fantastic accommodations and convenient location of your lovely house! The space exceeds the pictures on the website by far. We had abundant room for our close friends to stay with us and all the amenities for entertainment and relaxation including the fully stocked kitchen! This was a perfect place to bring together a geographically disparate group of friends. Linh and Kim were accessible, helpful, and thoughtful in ways we never could have predicted. We look forward to waking up to the beautiful mountain views (and deer!) sometime again in the future!

Our trip to Telluride was fabulous! The Nguyens have a truly beautiful house with impressive views and perfect proximity to the slopes. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the makings for the perfect family vacation - games for the kids, sleds, great indoor and outdoor space! Most of all, the Nguyens make the planning of the trip as easy as possible with clear guidelines for the house as well as the offerings of Telluride. EXCELLENT!!

This is truly a luxury rental. Kim and Linh add a personal touch not seen with other rental properties. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Both the architecture and the furnishings are spectacular. In addition, it is a true ski-in, ski-out home. The home was spacious, and the owners could not have been any more accomodating. This was a first trip to Telluride for most of our group, and we were a little concerned about getting into town for dinner and entertainment. It could not have been easier. Dial-A-Ride came minutes after calling, and it was a short ride to the free gondola into town. The gondola ride was scenic and relaxing. We were uncertain whether to stay in town or in Mountain Village, but we made the right decision. We had the benefits of this luxurious home combined with the convenience of a short trip into town. I highly recommend the home, and we hope to return soon.

We had the most wonderful time in Telluride at the Nguyen's gorgeous home. The hospitality awaiting us made our stay exceptional. The amenities and details of this residence were unparalled and we take family vacations twice yearly. The children and adults all shared a terrific time relaxing indoors and out. The layout of the house was spacious for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. The hot tub & steam shower were delightful, the staples stocked & graciously provided in the kitchen were much appreciated. The villa was beautifully decorated and we felt luxuriously pampered with the breathtaking views of the snowy outdoors while relaxing in front of the fireplaces. The web photos do not show how spacious and beautifully appointed this vacation home is. It is wonderful, absolutely no drawbacks.
