  I have been going to Kiawah Island for over 30 years. This year I went down with two friends from work who have never been to the island. We were thrilled with the house. Fantastic place. Lynne is great to work with. The house is past the 2nd gate, giving a little more privacy. I would recommend this house to my friends and family and I look forward to staying here again!! Very private at the end of the street. Everything wthat was needed was there for us to use. I liked the youtube videos made it even easier to like this house before going. I would recommend this house to all groups.

  I just want to say how beautiful this house was. When we first arrived there was a little problem getting checked in, but the owners really stepped up and made sure everything was taken care of and even offered to buy us dinner. The house is well decorated and kept spotless. The master suite is large and the master bath is even bigger. We have stayed at Kiawah many times in the past and this was by far the best place we have stayed. It was a very relaxing week and would love to return.

  The house was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The owner was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. We originally planned to visit in winter 2011 and had to move to winter 2012 and the owner was so helpful in making that an easy change. We ended up going as just our small family, 2 adults 1 toddler. The house was kid friendly yet still beautifully decorated. We LOVED the master suite! The island was SO QUIET up until the marathon weekend. It felt like we were the only ones there! We loved riding our bikes down the beach and not seeing anyone else! We even got to see dolphins playing just off shore! It is a perfect place/time to go if you just want a relaxing week away from reality. If you are going for the marathon, the house is very conveniently located on the marathon route and you can walk right outside and see all of the full and half runners go by which was very helpful for us! I would recommend this house to any family looking for a comfortable getaway.

  This is the second time our family rented 51 Burroughs Hall, and we would certainly rent it again. The rental agency for the owner has been responsive to calls and/or requests (which were quite few). We have had direct e-mail and telephone communication with the owner who has also been very responsive and proactive. We found the property to be as advertised, very clean, and well situated on the island. It was an easy bike ride or car ride to many island attractions. The back sitting area (screened in) was comfortable and a good place to read a book or just relax. The grill on the back patio outside the breakfast area just off the kitchen worked very well. I would certainly recommend this property for friends and/or relatives.

  We spent a wonderful week at this home last month. It was pristine...even a bouquet of fresh flowers in the master bath, which was HUGE ! The photos don't do this home justice. I highly recommend this property...we plan to return next year. The owner was very easy to deal with and the location worked out extremely well for us. There were two deer living close by...we saw them every day.

  After contact with the friendly and helpful owner, we arrived to a very clean spacious home. The pictures don't do this lovely home justice. We found this house to be larger that we expected and great for three couples. The living areas, including the eat-in kitchen, dining room and family room were very comfortable for our group. My husband I enjoyed the large master bedroom with huge in-suite bath. I loved relaxing on the screened in porch. All the golfers in the group had easy access to garage storage. It is a short drive, from the house, to amazing golf and to the West Beach Village for easy beach assess. Although we didn't take advantage of the numerous bike trails, many in our group went on long walks. In short, the house is perfectly situated for activities such as local sports, beach activities, or traveling off island to Charleston... or for just staying home and relaxing in this comfortable home. We hope to return.

  We stayed at his property over the Easter break and were more than satisfied. Nice open floor plan with plenty of space. Good location just into Vanderhorst and a terrific value.. The home was clean and ready when we arrived.

  Having rented from several private owners at Kiawah in the past, we found this property to be the best value of all of our rentals. The property was in immaculate condition and well-sized for our family of six. The property is centrally located and a five minute ride to the beach, playgrounds, and retail. We plan on staying there again in the spring.
