First time renting this cabin was great for me and my partner and our two mellow dogs. We stayed for 5 nights, and were joined by another couple of friends for two of those nights. With only 1 downstairs bathroom, and a third (sofa) bed (in the living room) for a possible two more, it would have been too tight for anymore than 4 people, unless you're planning to be out all day and night, and just looking for a place to sleep and shower. Plan your meal activities to eat out or bring food in with disposable plates, etc.; otherwise cooking facilities are adequate, and you will need to wash dishes by hand - no automatic dishwasher. Nice to have clothes washing/drying facilities, if needed. West shore location in a nice quiet neighborhood is perfect for access to the full variety of Lake Tahoe amenities/activities, at a great value. Landlord/Owner was very delightful, responsive and easy to deal with. We would be very happy to return again.

We had a wonderful week at this cozy, tidy, and very comfortable cabin. The late October weather cooperated and it was one of the most restful and enjoyable vacations we've ever had. If we owned a cabin, it would be outfitted much like this one. It doesn't at all feel like a rental. The furnishings, bedding and linen, kitchenware and appliances are all better than you'd expect. Except for a couple of minor annoyances (couldn't find the DVD remote or a dust pan), everything was perfect. I've never met or spoke to the owner but I'll be she's a very nice person who takes personal pride in everything she does. The photos need to be updated to show an additional mission recliner (boy do we love them) and a new flat screen that gets local channels in full HD. It's such a great find, you're compelled to treat it with the respect it deserves and like it's your own. We sincerely hope to come back someday.

My wife and I, with our Golden Retriever, had a wonderful weekend in this very attractive, comfortable and cozy cabin. We did a lot of hiking, and the cabin was a great place to recover after a long days journey.

Ron and I have enjoyed immensely staying at your cabin. It has quite a lot of room. I loved the Ethan Allen furniture! It is so close to beautiful Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed hiking and seeing all the pristine small lakes around the area. I highly recommend this cabin for a quiet get-away for relaxing, skiing, hiking etc. ***** Five stars!!!

I have stayed at this peaceful, cozy cabin in the summer and winter months. Great location: close to lots of hiking trails in the summer and ski resort (Homewood) in the winter. I love the West Shore!

We very much enjoyed our two weekends spent at the cabin. The cabin is located in a lovely area, convenient to the lake and hiking trails, as well as the grocery store, coffee shop and restaurants. The cabin was clean, quaint and contained all of the necessary amenities to make our stay very comfortable. It also has a great porch to enjoy a glass of wine. We highly recommend a stay!

I have stayed at this cabin many, many times over the past years and it is as perfect for that nice weekend away as it is a week's vacation. It's location is perfect -- close to the Lake and the West Shore resorts. The place has absolutely everything you need to feel like it is your own vacation cabin.

My wife and I have stayed at this cabin a couple of times in the past few years -- in the snow and in the summertime. We love the accommodations - very comfortable, warm, fun, nice appliances, fireplace, and porch. It's so close to the lake and in our favorite area -- the west shore and close to state park with hiking and also close to Tahoe City and all of the amenities there. We will certainly come back and stay here in the future.
