  Our family of 4 just returned from Gearhart and had a great time at this condo. It is a well stocked unit, but doesn't have that "just walked in to someone else's house" feel. The condo was clean, and everything worked great (the grill worked, but an update isn't too far in the future). Because this is a ground floor unit, access to the beach was literally right out the back door. There is also a nice grassy area that buffers the condo from the sand. We had our dog with us, and as long as you're mindful of the condo rules the pet accommodations were acceptable. Staying here puts you within walking distance of the golf course and the attached restaurant/bar. We had a nice, laid back dinner here that was a perfect retreat for just my wife and I. Seaside is a short 5 minute drive. If travelling with kids, I recommend a 20 minute trip north to check out Fort Stevens. Dealing with the owners was a snap. Access info was easy to understand. May on the Oregon coast can be a bit tricky with the weather, but we had a normal mix of rain, sun and wind. The only thing that could have made this perfect is if the condo had access to a swimming pool. This was a good value, and we'll be back.

  Wonderful place for the kids and dog to stay! The owner was very helpful with getting us a reservation at the last minute. The place was great, and was right next to the beach. I would highly recommend the condo as a vacation retreat, and we would love to come back for another visit.

  Our family stayed here for 3 nights of Spring Break vacation. Condo very welcoming, comfortable and clean. Very quiet condos. Great space with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 sitting areas. Beds quite comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked. Beautiful views from condo of ocean waves and beach. Short walk to beach, but need to be able to walk up short, but steep sand hill. Gearhart beach really lovely and so uncrowded, it was wonderful. Only issue was screen door on back deck was ripped and difficult to open and shut. Also, color on DVD player in living room did not work. Neither a really big deal for us. Would stay here again and would recommend it. Really great for family with kids, with two single beds in the back bedroom and queen in front bedroom, plus other pull-out bed and lots of floor space.

  The condo was perfect for our getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed, the condo was right on the beach, tucked away on a quiet dead-end street. Very relaxing. Thank you!!

  My family stayed 2 nights here in march and we had the best time. Our beach house was very cozy and very close to the beach. Very quiet and relaxing.We were impressed by the cleanliness and warm atmosphere. Cant wait to visit again.

  This condo is ideal for taking time away, especially during those early spring storms that barrel down the coast. We were delighted by the location in Gearhart, close to Seaside but far enough away from the bustle. We loved walking out the door and up on the the dunes and beach within minutes. Really lovingly appointed, comfortable and spacious. A treat and we'll return again for another dramatic early spring visit.

  Just wanted to thank you for the use of your comfortable, well-equipped "cottage" by the ocean. Your thoughtful touches made this place a wonderful and relaxing retreat. Being so close to McMenamins was also convenient. We hope to enjoy your place again the next time we're in Oregon!

  I loved my stay! The place has all the things that you need. It feels like a home a way from home. Place is clean and location is perfect. Very comfortable beds. I slept like a baby which having a good night sleep help you going to keep enjoying your trip.

  Steve/Carla: Our 2nd visit to your beach condo, surprised use even more than our first. Christmas in Gearhart may be our new tradition! This holiday was configured a bit different for us in 2009, but spending several days by the beach was the winning prescription. Thank goodness for the perfect kitchen - stocked full with pots/pans/tools, because we used every single item in the cabinets to prepare our holiday dinner. The weather was incredible, the best I've experienced in my 3 years as an Oregonian. Clear, piercing blue skies, crisp night with indescribable sunsets. Peace on Earth. Renewing. We'll be making our reservations for Christmas 2010! Thank you both for all that you give.
