We stayed 10 days in NYC. It was our first trip outside Brazil and we were very apprehensive since the begining of planing the trip. The first thing that attracted our attention was the price of the apt., good price compared to others. Another point is the pictures on this website, believe it, the apartment is really that, very clean and cozy. The hot bathtub is a attraction apart. This apt. is veeeery well located. We had done an itinerary and at the very first day, we leave our bags on apt. and we went walk around the city. We could easily walk to the south of Manhattan to see the financial district, Battery park and a romantic sunrise gazing the statue of liberty. This was only the first day.. I hope to return soon to NYC and i wont think twice to stay on Mandy's apartment. Again, thank you so much for the hospitality! Sorry about the awful english.

We stayed 2 weeks in this apartment because we wanted to visit NYC very well and I'm sure we made the best choice. The location is absolutely perfect, in the middle of the lower part of Manhattan and near to a lot of attractions that you can reach just walking. There are a lot of subway stations in the surrounding streets too, so every single block of NYC is easily and fast reachable. And if you come back tired after a day of walking and visiting, you can just take a shower and go downstairs and you're in the hearth of Little Italy; go 1 block north out to enjoy a lot of small and cute restaurants and bars of every kind; 1 block south/east to reach the Chinatown. The apartment is located in a beautiful building and is really furnished with everything you need: A/C, washing/drying machine, Wi-Fi internet, and even the smaller details that sometimes can be very useful like umbrellas or a corkscrew. Rooms are very cute with NYC typical brick walls and fire escape stair out of the window. The owner is really really helpful and kind, providing a lot of useful informations and always being reachable in case of need. Thank you Mandy! When I come back to NYC I'll absolutely rent again!!!
Owner response:Hey Paolo- I'm glad you enjoyed the location/apt and took advantage of all that it has to offer. It's a great apartment, isn't it? Thank you again for your stay and we welcome you and your friends back anytime.

My 3 daughters (aged 14, 16, & 25) and I stayed at Mandy's apartment for a wonderful (but too short) weekend visit. Location was excellent - lots to discover in the neighborhood, and easy subway access to anywhere else we went in NYC. The area was safe; we were comfortable walking back from the subway station late at night. I left my car in a pay lot less than a block away. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. Sheets, towels, etc were top quality and beds were comfortable. Although unfortunately we didn't get to meet Mandy, she was great to work with, very patient, and did absolutely everything to make sure we were comfortable. If you like Dim Sum, try Jing Fong on Elizabeth St. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit New York and feel like a real New Yorker.

Small but cozy apartment in the best area of town. Walking distance from SoHo, the Village, and Lower East. Easy subway access (my daughter lives in Brooklyn and went back and forth with no problem). Close to lots of great restaurants: Stanton Social and Grotta Azurrre! Apartment fits 3-4 people comfortably! Small but complete kitchen, great bathroom and bedroom, and living area has a sofa bed that easily fits 2 people. Owner has extremely helpful hand outs in the apartment and came by to make sure we were okay. This says a lot about the owner!!! She was very helpful!!!! We will definitely be back!

Just back from our NYC getaway-stayed in this 1 BD apt rental. Apt was as described. Very clean, excellent location & owner was very prompt in her response to any ?'s or concerns.Stayed here with my husband & our 12 yr old daughter. It certainly beat the heck out of a hotel for many reasons. I would comment that this unit may be best suited for a couple. The couch was comfie, but its NYC-real estate is at a premium & things tend to run on the small side & it was a bit tight for 3. Mandy has clearly gone out of her way to leave maps & info including names & directions to great restaurants, bars & groceries. The washing machine was a plus, I wish I would've remembered that amenitie-could've packed less..... Literally less than 1/2 block from Little Italy/Chinatown. Easy walk to SOHO, great subway access. Though we didn't use kitchen that much, was nice to be able to store leftovers, make coffee etc.A big thumbs up all in all.
Owner response:Hi Laura- Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed the apt and the incredible location As I mentioned previously, I have a great 2 bedroom that is only a few blocks away that can sleep up tp 6 people that might be nice for your family. Thanks for the leaving the sample from the Westminster show.

My wife and I decided to rent an apt for our pre-Christmas trip to NY. Our only other trip was doing the typical mid-town hotel thing which was fun but we wanted to get out of mid-town and have a place we could relax. Mandy's apt was perfect! The neighborhood is amazing, SoHo, Little Italy, Nolita, Chinatown all right there. We spent the entire 5 days exploring every Manhattan from Battery Park to Chelsae to the village to the upper east side and even a bit of Brooklyn. Subways are close and there are convenient markets a couple blocks away. All in all a great time.
Owner response:Hi Mike- You guys were great and welcome back anytime! I'm glad you guys appreciated the fact that this is perfect neighborhood for exploring NYC. I mean everything you could ever want is within 15 minutes or less

"The two beds in the apartment suited the three of us very well. We loved the location for its proximity to Little Italy restaurants and the subway, and were very pleased with the newish bathroom facilities. The bathroom was spacious, and the kitchen offered us what we needed for preparing breakfasts and snacks. You have a lot of cleaning products to choose from! The WiFi worked well, as did the TV. Anyone with mobility issues needs to know about the stairs. We enjoyed seeing a lot of the sights of the city, and the weather was fabulous the week we were there. I've let some other friends know about your place as they head to NYC at least once a year. Happy holidays to you.
Owner response:Hey Dinah- Thanks for the review and I agree you can't beat the location! Glad to hear that you appreciated the big bathroom and took advantage of the kitchen. Keep me posted if you or your friends want to return. Mandy

My boyfriend and I recently rented this charming SoHo apartment for a long weekend in New York. The location is ideal - literally steps from fabulous shopping and incredible dining - and the apartment itself is simply delightful. Spotlessly clean, with character in spades. The owner is extremely helpful and was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely rent again. A++++++++++++++!

Thank you, Mandy, for renting us your cute little apartment. As you advertised, it was very clean, quiet, close to the subway and grocery store, in an area of vibrant night-life, and an affordable alternative to a hotel room. We enjoyed walking through the nearby neighborhoods, found using taxis easy and not that expensive, and easily figured out the subway system. We'll definitely recommend your apartment to friends and family looking for a place to stay in the Big Apple.

My teen aged daughter and I stayed at Mandy's apartment for a week in August, 2010. The location was terrific and the apartment was clean and accommodating (the pictures are accurate). The bed was very comfortable and so was the couch! So much better than staying in a hotel because we could spread out, bring in breakfast and snacks and do our laundry. I loved being able to step out the door and wander around SOHO! So much fun to "live" like a New Yorker for a week! We would definitely stay there again.

What a breath of fresh air in SoHo! I stayed in this well appointed, clean apartment for over a week, and my stay was way too short! The apartment is well appointed for a long term stay, with full kitchen, comfy bed and couch, great TV, washer/dryer and great linens. The owner is attentive, helpful, and not intrusive. I had a WONDERFUL stay and would very much recommend to anyone wishing to stay in wonderful SoHo--close to wonderful restaurants, bars, gyms, and of course the subway!

The apartment is cozy, although a little overstuffed. Bathroom and kitchen have ran smoothly. Because of the cold weather, heat seemed at peek, at least for 4 people in location. Location is great, right next to Mulberry St of LiItally, some train stations, Broadway, Soho, bars at East Village... I certainly recommend it.

All I got to say is WOW i love this place! I stayed at this brand new apt, which is centrally located right in nolita, soho, and little italy. Last week was the san ganerro festival right out my front door, I was able to go shopping in soho (3 blocks)and on the way home I had some vino at this adorable organic wine shop across the street. There is even a homemade candy shop next store( didn't think those still existed..only in nyc) where you can watch them make it fresh..kind of like willy wanka. I love this apt..its hard to find an apt in nyc that is brand new with a washer dryer and dishwasher. I already booked my ticket for november!
