This beautiful, very tastefully decorated two bedroom apartment is located just a short walk from the Arsenale boat stop and the San Zaccaria/San Marco area.
San Marco Square, the Rialto Bridge and all the main attractions are just a 15 min walk away and yet in this area you will find many local small stores such a bread shop, meat butcher, hair salon, supermarket, outside markets cafes and much more. This neighborhood will allow you to feel like a true Venetian as most of your neighbors are locals as well as the people you will see on the streets running their errands and sipping coffee in the nearby cafes.

This apartment has been recently completely refurbished in a typical Venetian style yet is modern and spacious. It's ideal for one couple with children, two couples or up to a party of 5 as there is an additional bed available. This apartment has a wonderful and rare canal view and is located just one flight of stairs up with very easy access. Perfect for elderly or people with heavy luggage.
There is a full kitchen with a beautiful granite counter top, central A/C, washing machine, dish washer, flat screen TV with cable TV and English news and movie channels and DSL internet connection.
The two bedrooms have both two good size, new and comfortable single beds that can be kept separate or pushed together to make a queen size bed (actually a little larger than a normal size queen bed). There are also two additional single beds in each room for large parties of 6 or perhaps for two couples with two children.
From the apartment living room, you can access a charming little terrace where you can just sit back, have a drink and enjoy the peace.
There is also a living room area, a dining room with a table for 6 and a full bathroom with bath tub with shower head that can be used a a regular shower.
This apartment is absolutely perfect for up to 4/5 looking for a beautiful home in the heart of Venice with easy access, canal view and all the amenities that an apartment like this can offer as this property has everything you need to make your vacation in Venice, one to remember.

A great apartment in a perfect location

The description did not do this apartment justice. It was even nicer than described. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable and they did an excellent job decorating the place in a modern and and clean way, yet keeping a very Venetian feeling. The area had such a real local feel to it. We spent plenty of time just wandering this neighborhood dining locally and stopping in every cafe that we passed. We loved the apartment and the area as well. It worked out perfectly for us. We would highly recommend this apartment to others.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We hope you are both well. We have been very busy since returning to Australia but wished to communicate to you and to the owner of the apartment in Castello Campo Gatte that we very much enjoyed our stay in Venice and love the apartment. We were unable to write this in the visitor's book because 3 of our party were scrambling to catch a plane on the last day. Thank you for your excellent service and please pass our thanks onto the owner of the apartment. We would love to return to Venice again so perhaps we will speak again in the future.
