Completely renovated 3-4 BR, 4 BA Home, one block from Mirror Lake.
Sits on a large double lot amid beautiful Rhododendron, Oak, Spruce and Hemlock trees. Deck with a hot tub and sitting area and gourmet gas grill. Two areas inside for relaxing and watching TV - both with new 42 inch flat screen TVs. One of these is in the Great Room which adjoins the kitchen and opens onto the deck. The other is in a large Bonus Room that is filled with games, books and is a great comfortable area for kids to hang out.
We have two Master Suites - one has a King Bed and is upstairs next to the Loft Office and has a private balcony. The other is on the main floor with a King bed and has a large, new bathroom with steam shower/sauna, whirlpool tub and double sinks.
Additional sleeping areas are: a Bunk Room that has two Bunk Beds - one is a Twin over Full and the other is a Twin over Twin; and the Bonus Room - which has another Bunk Bed that is a Twin over Twin as well as a Queen Sleeper Sofa.
We have a brand new outdoor Hot Tub - great for those chilly nights for which Highlands is famous. The gourmet kitchen has all amenities and is fully equipped. The Great Room has comfortable leather furniture, a wood burning fireplace with a gas starter and a 42 inch flat screen TV.
We are a mile from downtown Highlands - an easy distance for walking into town for your morning cappuccino.
Highlands is a short 2 hour drive from Atlanta - great for a quick get-away.

There is a cleaning fee of $175/week for parties of 6 people and under.
Groups over 6 people, there will be an additional charge based on the number.

One week minimum during Summer as well as Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Highlands was fabulous, as was the VRBO rental home. The home was spacious, clean and well situated. It was a comfortable place to just hang out and the wi-fi access was great. The grounds are beautifully kept up with nicely laid out paths, plantings and flowers. The town and surrounding areas for hiking, swimming and exploring made for a perfect vacation spot. We all, including our dogs, enjoyed the respite from summer temps while paddling along Mirror Lake. We hope to return again in the future.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, pet owners, sightseeing.
