    I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Paris (in September 2012), and living in the Medicis apartment near Place des Vosges was one of the big highlights! I would certainly work with Thierry again, and would love to lease this apartment - or another one of his places - for my next visit. First of all, the newly remodeled apartment is beautiful. It contains all the modern amenities one would want, but also has plenty of charm as well. The windows face a warm and welcoming courtyard, and the apartment itself is located on a quiet street. On my trip, I was looking for a month-long experience to live like a Parisian, and the apartment’s location absolutely helped me accomplish my goal. Yes, the apartment sits on a quiet street, but is just a 3 minute walk to a really cool grassy square called Place des Vosges, and lots of boulangeries, shops, cafes, and places to see are also nearby. The Bastille is extremely close too. I explored many other areas in Paris, and what's really nice about this location is it's NOT overly touristy. Yes, I did meet several tourists, but I also got lost in the French culture as Parisians live/work in this area as well. The Metro is just a 3 minute walk away too, so I found it extremely easy to hop on it and explore anywhere in the city. Lastly, Thierry is a great guy, and he’s very professional and thoughtful. Throughout my month-long stay, he quickly responded to any questions I had, and he made the logistical processes very easy. I certainly look forward to working with him on my next visit!     Thanks Thierry for making our wonderful stay in Paris so comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is as advertised and has all the amenities (even a washer/dryer combo) and a comfortable bed. The location is fantastic on a quaint street that we loved going home to every day. You truly feel like you are a Parisian. The only drawback of it being an older building is the lack of a lift, worn wooden stairs and you may hear your neighbors in the hall or next door. But all worth it and we will go back for sure! Overall, this apartment is an excellent value for your money and we would highly recommend it. Get a baguette et croissant at le boulangerie on the corner. Yum!

    Charming apartment in excellent location. It was extremely easy to get to all of the Paris’s sights. Many of them are in walking distance. Also you can use a metro or RER, which just short walk away. Nice local groceries and restaurants just steps away. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The listing photos and description accurately reflect the apartment’s appearance and amenities. We will highly recommend this beautiful place to our friends and other visitors, coming from different countries, in order to enjoy Paris to its best and to have a great, safe and spacious place to stay. My husband & I really enjoyed our time here... thanks for a very happy rental.

    The apartment is compact but well laid out and offers a wonderful respite after a long day exploring Paris. It is well located with many good restaurants and stores nearby and is within easy walking distance of many Paris attractions and metro RER stations. A twice weekly street market is only a block away. Although very close to the busy Paris street life, the apartment is located on an interior courtyard on a quiet street. It offers good value and was the perfect choice for a week long mother daughter getaway to Paris.

    I always try to stay in apartments when I travel, but I had never booked through VRBO before this trip. The positive reviews helped sway me to this apartment, and I'm glad they did. First, the location of this apartment is fabulous. It's on a small street that has cafes, bars, a grocery store and shops. And it's right in the center of the Marais, which has everything you could want. It is within walking distance to several Metro stops, the closest one being only about 2 blocks away. The pictures and the description are accurate. It's on the third floor but the stairs really aren't bad. Thierry was really easy to work with in reserving this apartment and dealing with any issues that arose during the planning of my trip. This apartment helped make my first trip to Paris fantastic. I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend it to any friends or family!

    My daughter and I had a wonderful time in the apartrment MARAIS. The apartment is cozy and roomy at the same time, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and located on a charming street just off the Rue de Rivioli. We loved the boulangerie on the corner, where we started our day with a cafe creme and pane au chocolat, and the Franprix market literally right next door, where we bought fruit, wine, pasta, juice, soup, bread, eggs, cheese, everything we needed to make meals in the small but serviceable kitchen in the apartment. I had researched apartments and rental agencies for months and months before the trip and considered myself lucky when I found Thierry and his apartments. I was really impressed by what people had to say about the experience, and everything they said was true. It was a delight working with Thierry. He is so responsive, helpful, straight-forward, honest, and kind. Christmas in Paris was magical. Thanks, Thierry!

    Thierry has done a great job refurbishing this quiet ,sunny studio. New appliances, great shower, excellent windows&frames. Everything is easy to operate and it all works,even the laptop on the desk! Goodlooking Thierry makes you feel comfortable when he meets you at the studio,is always available if you need some help. I've rented several VRBO studios around Paris and this is great value for a single person. Next trip to Paris I would check the availability here first. A very pleasant feature is the lovely,spacious for Paris bathroom . It is well lit, clean,easy to move around in. Everything is new. If you have any physical difficulties in a bathroom please note that the shower is a step up into / down from style. The toilet space is a bit tight width wise.

    Dear Thierry, We have had a wonderful time here in Paris, we couldn't have asked for a better apartment than studio MARAIS. We congratulate you on providing a wonderful service, you have thought of everything that one needs on a holiday. We appreciated having a kitchen with all tha little extras like,sugar, coffee. oil. spices, dishwash liquid, etc. Also a washing machine and a heater. These things are never common in other apartments. It was for us, like coming to our family apartment, just unpack and explore. Thank you also for answering emails promptly, that really matters when planning a fabulous holiday. The location in Marais was suberb, often taking afternoon walks down to Place de Vosges or over to Promenade Plantee, nothing was really that far away. We hardly needed to use the metro, which we love, as we could take as much time as we like to walk and absorb the atmosphere. We have no hesitation in recommended you and would book with you again if we should return to Paris. Thanks so much, Kim and Michael

    Thierry, we just want you to know how happy we were in studio MARAIS. Everything was excellent, convenient, clean, quiet and very pleasant. We felt, perhaps, that we were living like Parisians. We were able to walk everywhere, the Seine, the museums, shops. Food , really good food, was easy to find. And we found the Marais a less hectic area than the Left Bank. And....the computer was a welcome bonus. At any rate, we will call on you when next we are fortunate enough to get to France.

    We LOVED our Paris experience in studio Marais very much.The apartment was exactly as promised. We loved everything about it, the decor, space,quality of furnishings & appliances.     We have just returned from a glorious month in Paris staying in Studio le Marais. The location is perfect - a lovely, lively neighborhood with a fabulous boulangerie on the corner that makes the best croissants we've ever tasted, an inexpensive market next door, an epicerie that makes fresh squeezed orange juice, a very nice square at the end of the street, the elegant and wonderful Mariage Freres Salon du The practically next door...and on and on. The apartment is, at the most, five minutes from the Seine, Ile St. Louis, & Notre Dame - perfect for those late evening strolls amidst the beauty of the City of Light. The apartment itself is delightfully cozy. Two of us were very comfortable there for the month and never felt cramped. Thierry, the owner, was very nice, wholly accommodating and went out of his way to make everything perfect for us. We very much look forward to returning and would HIGHLY recommend this apartment to anyone.
