This is a great rental in a great area of Brooklyn. The whole transaction was easy and professional. The apartment was spacious and clean with the appropriate amenities. Can't wait to enjoy the garden during or next visit in the spring. It's a perfect spot to enjoy coffee or a cocktail. We highly recommend it.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

January 1, 2010 Happy New Year! Your apartment is a perfect spot in a great place. We felt so much at home. Thank you for your hospitality - Everything fell in place as soon as we arrived up through Prospect Park last night with Marty Markowitz. The owners were hospitable and pleasant, and the indoor and outdoor facilities were clean, spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The location was perfect for us within walking distance to transportation and lovely Fort Greene Park. I highly recommend staying here if you enjoy a home away from home and feel comfortable in the lower floor of a renovated brownstore.

Sheila and I enjoyed staying at your Garden Apartment in Brooklyn. Your place was lovely, clean, the area was safe at night, and close to everything. Stores, subway and major shopping was just a few blocks away. The outside garden was a great place to have morning coffee. Our plans are to contact you the next time we plan on visiting Brooklyn and hope your place is available. I would recommend your place to anyone. I stayed in this apartment last December and had an amazing stay. The apartment was good sized and very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in the City!

My girlfriend and I stayed in New York for a week at this lovely apartment. The location is ideal for those who love to walk around in a much calmer (and beautiful) area of New York. There is plenty of amazing restaurants, coffee, and stores right around this apartment. Perfectly located near so many subway lines - it's an anti-taxi persons dream come true. The apartment itself is spacious, beautiful, and modern. Huge bathroom - lovely living room - fantastic bedroom. OH - did I mention the quiet and peaceful back porch and garden??!! Well - believe me when I say this - on a hot summer day, nothing is finer than sitting back there with lemonade or an Arnold Palmer with your finest friends soaking up the summer heat and letting the light breeze run across your calm face. This place is ideal for anyone who enjoys walking, parks, restaurants. The owners are beyond amazing - provide towels, toiletries, linens, air conditoning, fridge, you name it. A sweet couple owns the place and were nothing but friendly and helpful (they even provided us with a hand drawn map of the Brooklyn area!!!) I would highly recommend you staying here. This place is gorgeous and made for a perfect NY summer trip. I can't imagine how beautiful this brownstone apartment looks in the winter. I might just have to come back to see...
