Come to a private neighborhood in Virginia Beach, Virginia not known by many called "Croatan", just over the Rudee Inlet Bridge! There is only one access point in and out of this primarily, owner-occupied residential area with few rentals.

We fell in love with this area back in the summer of 2005 when we purchased this 3 bedroom home from a couple that had built this home as their primary residence and had never had it rented. It has a wonderful ocean view and can be easily occupied by one or two families. It was nice to finally find a home that we could just occupy as a family of 5 by ourselves on vacation unlike the 5/6 bedrooms that were overwhelming in size and seemed like you had to then bring another family with you just to afford it for a week.

We have 2 bedrooms that each have a queen size bed and then a third bedroom that has two sets of bunk beds in it that we love to call our "kids room." There is an upstairs sectional sofa that has a pull out sofa bed as well as 2 roll-a-way beds that can easily be pulled out of the master bedroom closet and used as additional sleeping with an extra family.

Bring your bikes and get ready to ride your bikes over the Rudee Inlet Bridge to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Let your children experience a Surf Camp since the waves in Croatan are sought after by many surfers in the area. Check out Motor World, Ocean Breeze, Strawbridge Cinema 12 or the Virginia Aquarium for days off the beach as well as pick blueberries or strawberries a few minutes away in Pungo. There is so much to do and see besides the beach plus enjoy our wonderful home. Since we have kids there, this home is comfortably decorated with two outdoor showers and plenty of t.v.'s to go around since we are familiar with the channel fights that can occur. We keep a second fridge in the garage to help with more refrigeration in the house (great for additional ice bags, soft drinks, etc).

We hope you will fall in love with Croatan and the well manicured homes and beach as we have over the years. This area is also well policed with it's wonderful neighborhood cares very much about their residents and their visiting vacationers.

My favorite part of my day is sitting on our wonderful front deck and watching the sunset over the ocean. We have a very convenient beach access not even a stones throw from our house.

This is a convenient rental for many who live in Richmond, Virginia with just a two hour trip and you are at the beach!
