We are one street over from the public beach (1/2 mile by car) and one block from the Crooked River Lighthouse Park. A perfect location for family fun.
Boop's Landing is also located near fresh water, bay and offshore fishing. Captain David Myrick is one of our Proprietor's and has been fishing these waters fifty years of his life as well as guiding and captaining for the past fifteen years. He has boats available for hire or will guide your boat. Fishing and boat touring accommodation packages are available.
July, August and September is scallop season and there are several fishing tournaments that run year round that are sponsored by local marinas. Boats, kayaks and canoes are available for rent; St. Vincent Wildlife Center in Apalachicola provides tours on St. Vincent Island; Apalachicola Maritime Museum had it's grand opening this past April.
Dog Island and East end of St George Island are easily available by boat just outside the mouth of the Carrabelle River for touring, basking on the beach or shelling. Dog Island is known for its bird conservancy.
If you're not a fisher person....there is St George Island and Apalachicola nearby with plentiful shops and restaurants.
