Beautifully decorated and well appointed. Just returned from a fabulous week. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, and just steps to beach. Would highly recommend this home for a family vacation or getaway.

We have stayed in this home a number of times and can't wait to get back there again! It's so beautifully maintained, decorated and cared for! You can tell the owners have spent time making sure you have everything you need. The kitchen works like a dream - I much prefer it to mine at home! And we love spending as much time as we can on the lovely and private screened-in porch. The beds are all comfy and the baths are gorgeous! The living area is as comfortable as it is beautiful. We have stayed in several of the homes in Sunset Captiva, and this one is one of the very best! Love it, love it!

I have rented several times in Captiva and can not say enough about this property. It is evident that the owners take great pride in making sure that renters have all their needs met for a perfect vaction. The decor is lovely and I highly recommend this to anyone! If you are forunate to find an open spot-I say grab it before it is gone.

A Perfect Week

Just returned from a weeks vacation on Captiva and our third stay in this Sunset Captiva home. The home is always immaculate upon arrival and starts the vacation off on a good note. It is very nicely decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. It's quite obvious that the owners take great pride in their home. Everything you need for the beach is provided including towels, chairs, umbrellas, floats, childrens toys, coolers and even several fishing rods(bring your own reel) and a cart to haul it to the beach. The unit is a short walk to the pool and beach as well as to some of our favorite restaurants on the Island.(R.C. Otter's and Green Flash) It is our favorite week of the year and we look forward to being back in 2012.

My family's stay at this home was fantastic! The beach house decor is beautiful and at the same time comfortable. The house is very well equipped from the beach toys, towels and chairs to the kitchen utensils. We wanted for nothing. We will definitely return for another visit.

perfect family retreat

Our stay here was perfect for our family (we are a family of 5 with a 7 yr old, a 4 yr old, and a 1 yr old) ! The home really lacks for nothing: tastefully decorated in beach-cottage chic, equipped with modern amenities, the kitchen is well appointed, the bedrooms are very comfortable (we also really appreciated an upstairs and downstairs bathroom - also nicely updated) and the screen porch was the perfect morning coffee spot, as well as an evening retreat. It is obvious that the homeowners take care of this house and take pride in it! The extended property is the perfect location on Captiva- an easy walk to the island general store, coffee, and restaurants. You will love your stay here - we certainly did! We plan to rent it again. Weather was perfect in March and we miss it already!

Perfect Vacation For Families

50 Sunset Captiva is the perfect place for a family who loves a relaxed, family-friendly, beach vacation atmosphere. The unit is perfectly located within walking distance of a pool, beach, restaurants, shops and the bay. It is clean, adorably decorated and perfectly equipped with anything a family would need for a relaxing vacation. We ate all of our meals on the screened-in porch enjoying the Florida air. I highly recommend this unit!
