Orick is a small rural community on the Redwood Coast between Eureka and Crescent City, completely surrounded by Redwood National and State Parks with secluded beaches nearby. Our property is located up a gated private road on a 6 acre bluff overlooking the Orick Valley and the Redwood covered hills beyond. Our guests seem to appreciate the high degree of privacy that the location offers.
Redwood Creek is located directly across the street from our gate, and you can walk down the levee to the beach which is about a mile and a half away. Ladybird Johnson redwood grove is just up the hill from Orick, the Redwood National and State Parks Visitor Center is a bit less than 2 miles south, Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is a few miles north. Trinidad, Patrick's Point and Klamath are all within 20 miles of Redwood Vacation Rentals. Crescent City and the Oregon border are roughly fewer than 50 miles north.
Arcata airport in McKinleyville is about a half hour south of the property with connections to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and more with many types of rental vehicles available.
