This was just what we were looking for. My mom and I stayed here and it was close to everything we needed and wanted as well as feeling apart of the neighborhood. Olivier was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. I would defiantly go back and would highly recomend a stay here. The only down side was the stairs up, but we got used to it and they really weren't that bad.

We had a marvelous time and the location was fantastic! Our only suggestions for improvement would be to upgrade the bathroom with at least one towel rack and a small waste bin. A shelf on which to put toiletries would also help. Very quiet and delightful location--the local boulanger was extraordinary and the selection of food shops on Rue St Antoine were amazing. Nous aimons beaucoup Paris!

We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights with our 6 month old baby. It is in a fantastic location. We were able to walk most places we wanted to go and our baby loved playing in the park in Place de Vosges (only minutes walk away). The apartment worked well for us with our baby. We brought our own portacot that fitted in the bedroom beside our bed and the living area although small was perfect for our needs. The bathroom has a small bath which was also good for our baby. There was a special secure place to park the pram inside the courtyard and there was no noise at all in the evenings. The kitchen does not have an oven but this did not stop us from cooking dinners each night. It was great to have the free wi-fi too to do more travel planning from the sofa too. The only downside is that it is quite a dark apartment, minimal natural light and only lamps for artificial lighting. Not a problem though if you are not spending time during the day there. Would definitely recommend it to a couple or those with a small baby (not yet crawling). Would not be ideal for more people than this though.

This apartment on Rue Beautreillis was just right for our 30 day husband/wife vacation in Paris. Even up to the last day of our stay, we always felt good returning to the apartment after a day of ventures in and around Paris. As described in the VRBO listing, the unit is small. But the layout of rooms is good. We did not feel cramped. Luggage and belongings can be stored away in a very large closet, which aids in keeping things in order. The apartment and the settings match the info and pictures on the VRBO listing very well. Upon our arrival, the apartment was well cleaned. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, dinnerware and various tools and utensils. Through the entire process, from first contact, and also with financial transactions, owner Olivier responded quickly and professionally. The damage/security deposit refund had already been processed through Paypal when our plane arrived back in California -- only 18 hours or so after we left the apartment. The location of this apartment can't be any better. Literally, from building's front door, its turn left for 50 feet, left again for 100 feet, right for 200 feet and you will fall into the Sully-Morland Metro station staircase. It's a quiet station and riders go in other directions away from the apartment. Continue on another 300 ft or so beyond the station and you are on the banks of the Seine. In the early morning, the apartment's street is often void of cars and people. And most other times just a few pedestrians will be walking by. Passing cars are infrequent and there is no street parking in the area of the building entrance which is special for Paris. The building's grounds and entrance area are maintained well. Always clean and tidy. We are very happy we selected this particular apartment. As mentioned in reviews by others, the apartment is up three big floors from the ground by staircase only. But if you are in good enough condition be be walking around Paris and to handle the many stairways in the metro and museums, the apartment stairs shouldn't be inconsistent with the Paris adventure.

First off, be sure to note that in France, the first floor of a residence is up one floor above the ground. We arrived at our apartment in the 4th Arrondissement and found it to be exactly as portrayed in the ad. The large, heavy street doors protected by a numbered security system, then, inside the doors, a key operated security gate, leading to a delightfuly garden courtyard. Might have been nice to have a bench there to sit and enjoy it, but still very relaxing view. Then, being on the 3rd floor (4th floor up), we trudged up 67 stairs. The apartment is furnished adequately, and modestly attractive. There is WiFi with a strong signal and easy hook-in. The queen size bed was comfortable enough and had sufficient blankets, however, we were there for 2 weeks - it would have been nice to have a fresh change of linens. Same with towels - only 3 bath towels and a couple face towels provided. Hardly enough for 2 people for 2 weeks. On vacation I don't expect to have to wash linens and towels. The TV works, but the cable box was very hard to maneuver and several times we were stuck on channels and couldn't change them. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, however, no outlet. The only other mirror is in the bedroom, at head level for a taller person. I did replace a couple light bulbs that were out when we arrived, but there was a halogen bulb in the bathroom that I didn't want to fuss with so it remained out for our stay. Overall, the place was very quiet, and the location was excellent. We were within walking distance of the Metro - Sully Morland - and just a bit further to the Metro - Bastille. Steps from St. Antoine and Rivoli. So transport, food, and shopping were very close. For the price, we got pretty much what we could afford and expected (except for the 4th floor location that we thought would be 3rd). The landlord was pleasant, but does not stay on premises. I did call him once and did not get a return call, but that might have been my own unfamiliarity with calling in France. Overall, a reasonable accomodation for the price.

An excellent location on a quiet street in the Marais--conveniently close to the Seine, to the Place des Vosges, and to the Metro. The building and apartment are both nice and well-maintained. One of my favorite Parisian restaurants, Vins des Pyrenees, is just down the street. The landlord is kind, thoughtful, and super-efficient! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

We have rented several apartments in Paris over the years and this one was quite satisfactory. The description in the listing is accurate, the condition of the apartment clean and well-maintained, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We particularly appreciated the location, close to the river and the Metro, walking distance to many major attractions, restaurants and stores. We would consider staying here again or recommending it to friends or relatives.

We had an excellent 8 night stay at this property. It was our first time using VRBO and we were pleased with how easy it was. Olivier was prompt and professional in his responses to us. The security deposit was returned promptly. The apartment is very much as described, the photos are accurate, it was clean, well maintained and well equipped for simple meal preparation. The location is excellent being on a small quiet side street but close to shopping, cafes, the Seine and many sights. My only complaint would be that we found the bed too firm by North American standards. It would be improved by having a "pillow top"
