Rest and Relaxation. These were our primary goals this year when looking for a get-away vacation rental. It has been a tough year and we desperately needed some decompression and fresh air...This cabin fit the bill wonderfully. It was very quiet and peaceful all the time, but particularly in the evenings we hung out on the back porch in the rocking chairs and just listened to the creek gurgling along it's way. The cabin itself has all of the amenities we needed (and more)...In particular, The kitchen was very well equipped, and the fenced back yard was really convenient when it came to the dogs. (The rental cabins we have done before have never had one and we had to walk the dogs on a leash for every step outside. Not here. We let them out to play and do their business and just relaxed on the deck. Very nice. During the day we fished, and played in the creek with our three dogs. They loved it. Even our thirteen-and-a-half year old was feeling-his-oats and trying to chase down all the wonderful outdoor adventures. My brother and I fished the creek in both directions. Caught a few small one's, but still had a great time just hanging out and exploring. We had better luck moving upstream. Had some really nice strikes up by the old stone bridge ruins. Caught a handful of native sunfish/brim. For a day trip we ran over into the national forest at Cooper's Creek campground and did some serious fishing and hiking. Very remote and peaceful and primitive. Besides that we were pretty much home-bodies, and the cabin fit that perfectly. All-in-all this cabin rental/vacation was a very positive experience. If we decide to head back up that way for another vacation we will certainly keep Sean and the Youngcane Creek cabin in mind...

This cabin surpassed my expectations tenfold. The beauty cannot be captured in pictures. It is so comfortable and we had everything we needed. The creek makes the most peaceful sound and we were within a short drive to anything we needed. It was quiet, we made s'mores, spent hours in the hot tub and the beds were sooooo comfortable. We went to Amicalola Falls which was a quick drive and seriously beautiful. The kids fished and we laid in the sun. We also took a scenic train trip to the TN/GA border which was beautiful and relatively inexpensive for a day trip. Cannot say enough good things! The Rose family was wonderful!

We stayed here the first week of May 2011 and had a wonderful time. We took our daughter, baby grandson, and 3 dachshunds and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is warm and inviting. The creek in the back was beautiful and a wonderful sound to sleep by (still a little cold for swimming in early May). The hot tub was nice for those sore muscles after a day of hiking in the surrounding parks. A nice fenced yard for the dogs that connected to the deck came in real handy. The location is close to a nice size town, but far enough out that you have plenty of quite and privacy. We went to a different state park every day and had a wonderful time. The owner was very nice and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks - The Sims

Once again, we had a great week at your beautiful cabin. We took our grandchildren, Carly age 6 and her brother Carson, age 3. We saw deer everyday and several were in the front yard. The children enjoyed the hot tub and so did Grandma and PaPa. The weather couldn't have been better. Thanks again for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin once again. The Hatchers (Bill & Violet)

My family and I rented this cabin Dec 18-28, 2010. Great cabin with every amenity: full kitchen with lots of pots/pans, cooking utensils, grill, crock pot, plug in hot plate, microwave, dish washer. Great HOT running water right away. Bay window eating nook, big LR with gas fireplace(my preference with ignite button and instant adjustable heated fire for s'mores), great BR for kids/dogs, jacuzzi tub, 3/4 wrap around gated porch, and full Bath with laundry facilities-all downstairs. Upstairs has a stocked loft, master BR and private master Bath with Jacuzzi tub. Fenced in back yard for peace of mind with dogs and kids with open access to a gated partial wrap around porch which made it a treat to let kids and dogs run around in a safe environment. Creek frontage is beautiful and would be great to fish in warm weather. Plenty of room to run around in the free range portion of back yard area as well, with fire pit and 2 swing benches overlooking creek. Picture perfect place. Neighborhood is quiet and very well kept. Deer run through the area every day at 5:30pm. 1 HR or slightly more or less from Black Rock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge, Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State park, Brasstown Bald, Amicalola Falls, Fort Mountain, Lake Burton and much more! Located at the foothills of a mountain, you are 5 minutes from a paved county road and have easy access to everywhere. We were snowed in and unable to leave during the 1.5 feet of unseasonable snow. These owners were truly caring and compassionate to our plight, allowing us to extend our stay. These people are trustworthy and a class act. Thank you for a wonderful location to spend a family holiday vacation.

Once again we've had a great time here at your beautiful cabin. It snowed on Thursday, and what a beautiful sight. Even though it has been cold outside, we've had a great time. Our dogs Pete and Snoop loved taking walks in the snow. The deer have been every where, the cold doesn't stop them from walking around. The fireplace has been one of our favorite spots this week. Thanks so much for opening your cabin to us. We always love every trip we take here.

We stayed during early November 09. Was a beautiful weekend weather wise. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. The home owner was very good to work with. Blairsville is a very small community so attractions are very limited. We were there to visit family and found the home and yard perfect for our visit. I loved the quiet and the get away from everything feeling.

Thank you, we had a wonderful time. Your cabin is in a great setting and peaceful. It rained the first few days, but that was okay. We had everything we needed here in the cabin. When we woke up this morning it was snowing-that was the best setting of all.

If you are looking for a place to get away from your hectic life, look no further!! This cabin is conveniently located - easy to reach with lots to do in the area. For the adventurous you can fish, hike or tube/kayak right outside the back door. Or there is always something to do in the area (shopping, festivals, etc.). The wildlife (i.e. deer) will come to you as you sip your early morning coffee on the wraparound porch. I took a very long weekend with my family. It was so peaceful, relaxing and fun. We enjoyed the North Georgia fair, some fishing & hiking and then ended our days with wiffle ball contests in the large front yard followed by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit before calling it a night. Our cabin stay was awesome and I know yours will be too!

The long weekend we stayed was the most relaxing of my life. The kids had a great time playing in the creek. My wife loved the porch swing and the Jacuzzi. It was an added bonus to be Wifi’d and to have all the cable TV selections. We saw deer every day and signs of other wildlife everywhere. I would recommend this cabin to any one with children or any couple just trying to get away. The furnishing and amenities were much better than any cabin we have stayed in thus far.
