What an amazing time we had in Sweet Vista Cabin. It was perfect for our couples getaway with our friends. The cabin was well stocked with anything you may need or you may have forgotten. The location is secluded, but also within minutes of restaurants,shopping and local attractions.The hot tub was an excellent way to view the night sky after a busy day of sightseeing. Nicole was a pleasure to do business with and we plan on returning very soon!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

True Perfection!

I can only say that this property (and all of the extras provided by the owners) far exceeded our expectations. I am typically very organized for such a trip and make sure to take all of the 'extras' that might be needed, but the morning of our departure my organization went out the window due to an unexpected trip to the ER with my seven-year-old son. Six stitches and three hours later, we were very late in departing, and in my haste, I forgot many things. Not to worry! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a vase of fresh flowers, a little handwritten note from the owner, and a sweet treat! It was the perfect start to our three day retreat! Throughout our stay I came across those little incidentals that I normally take with me (and had forgotten)---foil, coffee filters, spices, and even COFFEE! After an unplanned visit to a trout pond, we returned with seven pounds of fish that we needed to cook. I was so grateful to have some extra spices in the cabin--as it kept from having to buy "duplicate" spices that I have at home. We travel to the NC mountains at least twice a year and this cabin was far more well-appointed than ones we have stayed in previously. As for the property itself, it was secluded though easily accessible. It was extremely quiet and extremely clean, and the decor charming and cozy. Linens and beds slept very well. My two children loved hopping in the hot tub at night to gaze at stars and ponder the quiet. The owner responded very promptly after our initial inquiry and while arrangements were being made. While staying at the cabin I had a challenge with internet connection so I emailed via my phone. I had a response literally within five minutes--which was so appreciated. We look forward to returning to Sweet Vista in the very near future! Thank you Nicole and Joel!

Amazing Getaway

The pictures didn't do the cabin justice. It is the perfect haven from everyday life and stress. I haven't felt this pampered in a long time. My expectations were exceeded three times over. If you are looking for a cozy place to reconnect with a loved one this is the place for you. The owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. We will definitely return and tell our friends of our "find".

Exceptional cabin, wonderful setting

We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing retreat. This cabin is very inviting, very clean and very accomodating. The attention to detail is evident in every nook and cranny of the cabin. The owners were very easy to work with and responded to our questions quickly. Thank you once again for allowing us to stay at Sweet Vista cabin for the weekend!

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin for New Year's. Everything was just as promised and then some. The place is so peaceful, a great place to unwind from every day stress. We loved sitting in the hot tub at night to end our evenings. We will be back and also tell our friends of the perfect place we found!

My wife and I, and another couple stayed at the cabin recently and were very impressed. The cabin was very well decorated and stocked with everything you need and then some. It had a very warm & inviting feel, which is exactly what we were looking for. We had a great little getaway and enjoyed everything, including the large Jacuzzi hot tub. The owner was very pleasent and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I expect we will be using this cabin in the future and would definetely recommend it.

We and another couple, with our 2 young children, stayed one night Thanksgiving weekend. The log home was absolutely beautiful! It was very warm and comfy, especially sitting around the gas firelogs. The home was equipped with everything! Every drawer in the house was labeled, so you had no problem finding anything! It was so nice not to have to bring paper products and linens. If you forgot anything, there was a drawer with supplies for that! This log home exceeded our expectations, and we will plan on staying there again! The owner was very friendly and even mailed some items back we forgot to bring home. Excellent customer service and a beautiful home. what more could you ask for!

Wow! WHat a great getaway! We haven't been to the mountainsin years but decided for our 20th wedding anniversary that place was our choice. We made the RIGHT choice! With having 4 kids and a business to run this was the kind of rest we needed. We hope to come back many times in the future. We felt is was home away from home! Thanks!

We have stayed in several cabins in this area and yours was by far the best! It was the best equipped and furnished and the cleanest! We are celebrating our 11th anniversary today and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

WOW! What a fantastic "mountain retreat" you have built. The house is wonderful and your welcome exceptionally warm. We loved the cabin. It is exquisite and so comfortable to stay in.
