Beautiful 4,100 square foot, 5 bedroom log cabin located on the top of the mountain with incredible views and privacy. The acreage is unique in that it is at the top but also has a flat area perfect for playing badminton, croquet, bocce and other lawn sports. There is also a fire pit for roasting marshmellow smores.
The cabin itself is lavishly decorated, has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There are two master bedroom suites with king beds(one select comfort). The third bedroom has a queen size bed and bedrooms four and five each have two twin beds in them. There are 4 1/2 bathrooms.
In the living room there is a LARGE stone fireplace that rises twenty six feet to the vaulted ceiling. The cabin has four decks, two of which are covered for dining and taking in the long range views.
On the bottom level there is a bar, ping pong, foosball and air hockey. You can be as active as you want or just sit back and enjoy the views, peacefulness, and privacy. Perfect for family reunions.

Wow what a home! Our two families gathered to the top of the mountain for a Christmas like no other. We absolutely adored this home from the well stocked kitchen to the cozy 26' tall fireplace to the game room downstairs, not to mention the astounding views from every room in the home. We had 12 people in the home and there was PLENTY of room for everyone. We would like to take this time to thank Mark for being such a great help with any questions that we had from booking the home to questions upon arrival. We HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone for large family gatherings. Waynesville/Maggie Valley is a wonderful small town area to visit. Shopping and dining is a must for anyone visiting the area. Again, this home is a MUST when considering large family gatherings as you will feel quite at home in your surroundings.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Lovely home with very comfortable beds and wide open spaces. Views to die for. Lots of stairs but a master bedroom on the main floor for those who cannot do steps. The property was very clean and had every amenity. We particularly enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch to watch the sunrise every day. Spectacular!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend in October 2011. It was exactly as described. It is furnished beautifully and the location is great. Very spacious and luxurious with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. We will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We just ended a great trip to this beautiful mountain cabin. There were a total of 12 people and yet we never felt cramped. The place is very large yet cozy because of the decor. The best spot in the house though was the back porch with it's breathtaking view. Thanks for a great trip!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
