Villa la Estancia is a beautiful private (full time ownership) 5 star resort located on Medano Beach. Town is just a short walk or you can take a water taxi right from the beach.
The resort has a beautiful infinity pool with a swim up bar. You can also enjoy the five ocean view hot tubs. The La Parilla Grill is poolside and the beautiful La Casona offers outstanding gourmet cuisine, and of course room service is available 24 hours a day.
Guest have privileges at both the Villa Del Palmar and the new El Arco right next door. They have several additional restaurants on site, a children's program and a new full service European Spa and gym. There is also a supermarket, pharmacy and deli on site as well as an internet cafe, video rental and ice cream shop. Taxi's to town are readily available right outside your door or if you choose to rent a car there is underground parking available at no extra charge.
Our ground floor unit makes it easy to walk right out your patio to the pool or beach. It is set back from the main walkway for a very quiet and private patio setting. You can even have a private dinner catered on your patio or have a romantic dinner right on the beach.
The unit is elegantly furnished with an entertainment center with TV/DVD and a CD player. The formal dining has seating for six and also has a convenient breakfast bar for 3. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for cooking your own meals during your stay and there is also a gas BBQ on the patio.
The master bedroom unit has a king size bed, sitting area, TV/DVD and an oversized bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower and a double vanity. The living room has a queen size convertible sofa.
The second bedroom can be rented separately if desired and it has 2 queen beds with a full bath and a mini refrigerator.
We have been vacationing in Cabo for over 15 years and have plenty of suggestions to make your vacation memorable. Let us know if we can help set you up fishing, snorkeling or cruising. We have several great companies we have been using for years.

We had a fabulous time in Cabo San Lucas and loved your unit! The ground floor location was convenient and great for the kids. We had a BBQ on the patio and the kids could run around in the grass and hot tub was close. We love being close to the store and deli! What fabulous sandwiches. The unit had everything we needed to cook and dine in if we chose too. The landscaping is beautifully lush and the pictures are right on. I appreciate all your help with my questions and information sheet you sent us. Some of our favorites restaurants were MiCasa, The Office (breakfast and dinner), Ediths and we tried the new Hacienda which has a stunning view and was reasonable. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this unit. Thanks so much!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My family and I recently returned from Cabo San Lucas and had a wonderful vacation. We were a little concerned being in the middle of the spring break period but found VLE to be just removed enough to not feel overwhelmed by college students, and yet a 15 minute walk on the beach puts you in the middle of Mango Deck/the Office. The pool was lovely, although getting a chair required getting up earlier than we planned. The layout of the condo was just perfect for our family - the wrought iron gated entrance with two separate bedroom entrances once inside allowed my teenagers to have a little space from us, and togetherness (kitchen/dining/family area was in the master bedroom side and their bedroom on the other side) when both bedroom entrances were left open, while also providing the security of the locked wrought iron gate. We were able to cook easily in the kitchen as it was outfitted with just about everything you needed to cook. Everything was clean, and new. The staff at VLE was very friendly and the grounds well-kept. Truly a lovely property and we hope to go back again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for the great review. We too love the fact that the VLE is just far enough away from town but just a quick walk if you want to be in the middle of everything going on in town and the busy part of Medano Beach.

My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Villa La Estancia in Cabo. What a wonderful experience!! Not only were the grounds immaculate and beautiful, the staff was wonderful and always accomodating. The entire resort is breath taking, the pools wonderful, as well as the unit itself. We spent many evenings barbecueing on the patio and had dinner at La Casona one evening as well. It was a wonderful dinner. The villa has absolutely everything you need to feel completely at home and the owners were very helpful making sure we had all of our questions answered and steered us in the right direction for activities, restaurants etc not having been before. We are already planning our trip for next year and can't wait to return!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband has been urging me for a few years now to go to La Estancia in Cabo. We took our three children with us but we were unsure about them having a good time. We have two college age girls and our son is in high school. Our fears were quickly calmed as we drove up the drive to La Estancia. It is so incredibly beautiful and luxurious. We were greeted by a wonderful staff ready to serve and answer all of our questions. Our concern about handling the heat in July was also unfounded. The unit was cool when we entered and remained comfortable all week. The pools were not only magical in appearance but were clean and comfortable. Our kids practically lived in the water. The grounds were immaculate and filled with botanicals that we don't get the luxury of experiencing in Washington State. Walking the grounds at night time is breathtaking. It was hard to go to sleep for all of us because we didn't want to miss anything. Our kids didn't even want to leave to go into town but once. One of our favorite times of the day was meeting for lunch or dinner on the patio where we would barbeque and chat. We also loved dining at La Casona. Not only was the food five star quality but the staff brought out complimentary dishes from the chef to try in between courses. We were completely full and saddened that we couldn't fit dessert in. We watched a wedding on the beach from the resort. I'm certain my daughter will marry here. We took over four hundred pictures and couldn't bare to delete a single one. The unit was roomy and and I loved that there are bathrooms in each room. This is now our family's favorite vacation destination. Thank you for a fabulous experience.Did you find this review helpful? Just returned from our sixth trip to Cabo; the people and the beach are wonderful. If you have never been only stay on Medano beach, much of Cabo faces the Pacific and is not swimable beach plus hotels on the corridor are on cliffs and the cost of a taxi to town round trip is almost $70. The hotels on Medano beach cost $7 to town which is ten minutes. We love Villa la Estancia and stayed in a ground floor unti. (We found it on VBO #200049). You have a view of the arch all day and after dark you can not see it so you might as well enjoy the ease and convenience of a ground floor unit. The owners rental rates are very reasonable and I highly recommend checking with them first. It is two bedrooms, three baths and a queen fold out in the living room. The Kitchen is great and we love having a washer and dryer; with work-out clothes from the fitness center plus sandy beach swimsuits you can really cut down on how much to take. I like their unit in particular because it has easy access to the pool and beach; ground level is such a convenience!(Our unit # was 2206) Using stairways and elevators everytime you want to go to your room is just a pain! There are several great restaurants within walking distance on the beach. In town we love Alexanders but always go to Mama;s for breakfast and Felix's for dinner. It is a shack but he has been featured on the Food network over and over and has a salsa bar to die for. Cabo is less crowded than Cancun or the Yucatan and more upscale although the cost is the same. The hotel is wonderful and everyone is friendly. The beach pedlers can be fun and gladly go away when you say no thanks. Beware of timeshare scams and when you arrive do not stop until you are outdoors at the airport; the timeshare people act like they are there to pick you up. We use Baja Transfers available in advance on line and have never been disappointed; they are owned out of San Antonio, Texas and have super vans and great people. Never Never late. Cabo is a short flight, coming from the Dallas area it is so much faster than Hawaii, we can be on the beach by noon with no jet lag. I highly recommend Medano Beach; If you can not get a unit at Villa la Estancia go for the Pueblo Bonito Blanco and thirdly the P.B Rose; both are very nice.Always try to rent directly from owners for the best deals. All 3 have swimable beaches and lots of great places to eat and drink. Enjoy! We can't wait to get back; although they nearly caught the hurricaine last week overDid you find this review helpful?
