This luxurious new cabin is fully equipped from top to bottom. Gourmet kitchen has everything needed to cook, bake, roast, microwave, even milkshake maker & jar-top remover!; all small appliances included, huge variety of pots and pans, picnicware for eating outside. All linens, including beach towels for the Springs available. Extra pillows and quilts or lap throws scattered around and in closets. Wireless DSL Internet.
Entertain the kids outside with the new balls, horseshoes, other toys. Roast marshmallows and hotdogs over the family firepit in front of the cabin. On rainy days play boardgames and enjoy the gas fireplace. Plenty to read. Tons of movies or use the satellite TV service in Living room and Master Bedroom. Game Cube with lots of games for everyone. Large screened porch with table and chairs for 6 keep the bugs at bay while you dine or smoke. I am a writer of Middle Grades and Young Adult Fantasy. Wife and Mother of 4. Retired Middle Grades teacher.
Why the Owner Chose Lake City
This cabin was built for my elderly father after the death of my mother. We moved from Jacksonville to take care of him and he gave us the house to live in. He has since passed away and would be totally thrilled at the use we are making of his little cabin. He had me help him with all of the decisions because "It'll be yours one day."
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We are "in the middle of everything and close to nothing." Three rivers surround us, Santa Fe, Ichetucknee, Suwannee; springs abound (nearly 100); Suwannee Music Park is 20 minutes away; Stephen Foster State Park is 10 minutes away; Lake City and Live Oak are each 12 miles; Jacksonville and Tallahassee are each 1.5 hours on I-10; Gainesville and Valdosta are 45 minutes on I-75.
