This house is situated adjacent to National Forest Service land, with direct views of the Continental Divide and Arapahoe Glacier, as well as 360 degree views of the Great Plains and surrounding mountains. The location is both private and inspiring, and is perfect for retreats, family gatherings, or a romantic getaway. This is a luxury home with all the comfort of a hotel, but better!
While staying here you can enjoy a wide variety of activities. Hike, mountain bike, or ski right from the door, or take a short drive to the trail heads in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Nearby Eldora Mountain Resort provides excellent, family-friendly snowboarding or skiing. You can visit the historic mining community of Gold Hill, only one mile away, and enjoy fine dining and excellent concerts at the Gold Hill Inn. Boulder is only ten miles away (a 25 minute drive), and Denver is also easily accessible.
The home itself is fully-equipped for a luxurious vacation, while also being inspiring enough for a personal retreat. Enjoy cooking in the modern kitchen, lounging on one of three decks, or soaking in the over-sized bathtub or steam shower. The kids will enjoy the giant sandbox and the zip-line outside, or playing in the fenced-in yard. Groups can gather inside the versatile Great Room or relax by the wood stove in the living room. Enjoy the star-filled Colorado sky with our telescope, sleep well under the fine linens and cozy duvets, and then wake with deer and hummingbirds right outside. There is a $150 cleaning fee. Security deposit and pet fees required.
Minimum six day stay from May 1- Sept 1. Minimum one week stay during
major holidays. Two night minimum at other times of year.
We do not permit weddings or other large parties.

What a beautiful place! Our first night we had mule deer in the yard and the scenery is just breath-taking. We could not have been happier with the house- it has everything. Loved the linens. Definitely will be planning another vacation here. The kids loved the ping-pong room! We loved the peacefulness so much. Staying here made the vacation so wonderful. Thank you!

To the Sutcliffe Family: Your home was absolutely perfect for our CU graduation weekend! When there wasn't a ping-pong match going on, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and serenity of your retreat in the mountains. The hummingbirds were amazing, we saw a wily coyote, and a couple of marmots! Your house had everything we needed and we thank you for sharing it. We'd love to come back someday. Peace to all

A spectacular setting for our father's 80th birthday celebration. We all felt so much at home in the fresh mountain air. Family and friends joined us from CA, NY, MN, IA, IL, WY, NH, CO and Spain. Everyone loved the location. We had the opportunity to enjoy hikes, zip rides, The Gold Hill Inn and our brother's gourmet cooking from Spain!
