This 1200 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 2 1/4 bathroom townhome in located in Fraser on the free shuttle route in the Winter Star Complex. There is an underground parking garage, for the complex, which will house your vehicle while you are visiting. You will have access to the large ski locker in the garage. The owners have supplied a porta crib and a high chair which you will find in this locker.
The fully stocked kitchen, dining room and 1/4 bathroom are located on the first floor. In the living room you will find a single pull-out (loveseat) that can sleep one person and a queen pull-out sofabed that can sleep two people. Enjoy the gas fireplace and the gas grill located on the deck. A washer and dryer are available for your use adjacent to the dining room.
Upstairs, the master has a king bed with a private bathroom and 3 twin beds in the second bedroom ( 2 twin bunks and a single). The guests in the second room can share the full bathroom located in the hallway.
The community hot tub is a short walk through the complex. You will enjoy excellent views of the mountains while you soak!

Why the Owner Chose Winter Star
In the winter we also like to cross country ski at nearby Devil's Thumb Ranch (15 minutes away) which is a beautiful cross country facility that also has a great restaurant and spa, cross country night ski at the Snow Mountain Ranch (20 minutes away) remember to pack your hot chocolate and peppermint Schnaps, downhill ski and or snowboard at Sol Vista (30 minute drive), and tube in Fraser (2 minute drive.) There is also a small sledding hill that is free in the town of Winter Park (10 minute drive.)
In the summer there are unlimited mountain biking and hiking trails as well as fishing, and river rafting. We also like to take the kids in the summer to Winter Park Resort (15 minute drive) for the alpine slide, putt putt golfing, and some of the music festivals that are going on. In the town of Winter Park there is an awesome park for kids as well as a small climbing wall that is free.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
There is a local Safeway grocery store (5 minute drive from the condo) where you can pick up anything you need on your way back home to the condo including a Starbucks coffee shop and video rental store. Once we get home we always have the best intentions of "going out" to eat or play but we are always so exhausted we usually end up having happy hour cocktails, a soak in the hot tub, and eat dinner. The condo is so comfy and cozy we never feel bad not leaving for the night. However, we always are sad to leave when our weekends are over and we have to drive back to the big city.

We are a family of 5 with 1 girl (10 years old), 1 boy (7 years old), and 1 goldendoodle (2.5 years old.) The condo is perfect for a family as the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed and 1 extra twin bed. Attached is a picture of our family last Thanksgiving looking for a Christmas tree. We love to ski at Winter Park (Colorado's Favorite Family Ski Resort) which is why we bought our condo there 6 years ago. We figured once the kids got a little bit older it would be the perfect spot because if my husband and I want to get up and catch the first track powder and the teenage kids wanted to sleep in they could just hop on the free bus which is right outside the condo and meet up with us later for lunch (or whenever teenagers wake up.)
