Perfect balance of tranquility and fun!! Located a few hundred feet from a private members only Sound Beach with the best Sunsets in Montauk. Walking distance to the Harbor offering restaurants, bars, shops and world class fishing charters (1/2 mile). Close to all - 5 minute drive to the heart of town, Ditch Plains or Gin Beach This place has loads of charm!! Enjoy the cool laid back vibe in this Shabby Chic Beach decor spacious 1960's Leisureama w/vaulted ceilings and skylights. Amenities include WiFi, cable, 2 decks, Weber gas grill, flat panel TV's. The family room is open and airy with plenty of seating. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine outside the private main bedroom deck (with water view, also equipped with a firepit)! Take a nap or read in one of the 2 tree hammocks on the property. New spacious outdoor shower with sink and changing area. Additional outdoor dining set and a love seat swing are located outside the main deck beyond the kitchen sliders. A 3rd private bedroom with a full size bed is located off of the Family room and a Full size sleeper sofa is also located in the family room. Privately situated on a quiet dead end block. This is a special place where fond memories are made!!!

My family & I just returned from our vacation to Montauk and can't thank the owners of this house enough for the use of their great beach house! The pictures don't do it justice. From the proximity to the beach, the privacy of the backyard, and all the great ameneties this home is definitely one to check out! We are already looking forward to staying there again next summer!

My Wife and I rented this beach house for a long fall weekend and absolutely loved our stay. The house was absolutely wonderful in every way. It is located just steps from a private beach and down the road from Gossman's dock. The home has a large secluded back yard with a fire pit and grill for all of your outdoor chilling needs. There was plenty of room, I would recommend this rental to bigger family, as 6+ would fit very comfortably. The owners were incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with throughout the booking process and stay. The home is equipt with all of the amentities you would need, just pack your sandals. We look forward to staying here again in the future, a perfect Montauk beach house. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect location... layout of the house was ideal for our family of 6, and there was room for everyone! It felt just like home, and we were sorry to leave at the end of the week. Home was well maintained and comfortable; situated close to the Sound beach, fishing piers, and our favorite, Gosman's Dock. Owner was lovely; always there to answer a question and to offer good wishes for a pleasant stay. Definitely recommend this listing; you won't be disappointed!

All my family and myself loved this rental in Montauk. The house had all the conveniences we needed plus more. The owner left us everything we could want. The kids and the adults loved the outdoor shower. The house was within close walking distance to a beautiful private beach and still close to the ocean. We are looking forward to staying again in the future.

We had a great time staying at this home. We were travelling with 2 small babies and had plenty of space for 2 cribs, toys, etc! The home is walking distance to a very nice beach, about 5 mins drive to downtown, and 2 mins drive to the Gosmans area. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house was very clean and had all of the ammenities that we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
