I love to welcome guest from all over the world to the townhouse and show off my wonderful and sunny island and its culture. This year we decided to look for accommodations on Nassau side. I am so glad that I discovered Julie's townhouse. The accommodations fit our needs perfectly. The house had everything to make this a "home away from home". It was comfortable, well maintained and well equipped. Great value for the price which included transportation from and to the airport. Julie's warm hospitality and willingness to show us the island made us feel like members of the family. We will definitely stay again.

    • "Julie and her family were unbelievable kind, generous, and hospitable. They went above and beyond what they needed to make our stay comfortable. Even the neighbors were amazing! The property was very clean and very well maintained. Julie ensured we had everything we needed. The only complaint we had was the condo was a ways from down town, however we went down town every day, but taking the busses was easy, accessible and fun! Love the straw market, but after a few days it can get tiresome. Just be careful when deciding where to go when clubbing. We had a wonderful time and will be back!!!!!!"

    • Upon arriving at the airport, our very friendly driver, Cheryl, drove us to the townhouse and gave us lots of tips about things to do in Nassau and how to get around. Staying at the townhouse, instead of a hotel, offered a bit of an opportunity to experience what it is like to live in Nassau. We met many friendly local people while at the beach, shopping at the market, and eating at the Fish Fry. The townhouse was clean, roomy and relaxing for our family of four, and it was very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, a large dining area, TV's, even laundry detergent for the washing machine. We loved walking out the back door and picking a mango to eat with our breakfast! It is a five minute walk to the beach and it was not at all crowded. The bus line is close and you can get to anywhere you want to go for $1.25. We had a great experience and look forward to our next trip back!

    • Our family of four enjoyed our 10 day stay at the townhome. The townhome is very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed having space to relax. It was wonderful to have a kitchen and laundry. We really enjoyed the fresh mangos! Julie was very nice and helpful both before and during our trip.

    • I stayed in this townhouse for a week in April 2009 with two friends. The townhouse was spacious and clean. There was alot of room for all three of us. This space would be suitable for two couples traveling together or a family. It was close to the beach and close to the 10 bus route which allowed us to travel to different parts of Nassau easily. Julie was extremely helpful and friendly and ensured that we had everything that we needed. I highly recommend this property and thank Julie for all her help and assistance. We had the most pleasant stay and can not wait to come back!

    • My husband and I and our two teenagers stayed at Julie's condo for a week and had a lovely time. Cheryl was waiting to pick us up at the airport and kindly offered her services should we need a taxi anytime during our trip. We booked her for a ride back to the condo after a dinner out downtown. The buses in Nassau stop running around between 6:30 or 7:00 pm. Julie’s condo was very clean and had all the comforts of home. There is a new barbecue for nights you would like to eat in and sample some delicious local seafood. My children enjoyed the wireless internet and a good selection of DVD's for family movie watching in the evening. Cable Beach is a short walk away and was beautiful. Julie and her family are extremely warm and friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. We learned so much about the island, its people and its culture. Julie's mom is an excellent cook who treated us to some delicious homemade Bahamian food. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

    • My wife and I, and our two year old, needed a last-minute escape from the Canadian cold weather. After deciding upon the Bahamas, we tried to determine where best to stay. The hotels seemed extremely over-priced for the ammenities offered and the traveller reviews received, so we decided to rent a home or apartment, as we had done before when we travelled to France. Boy - did we luck out! A previous reviewer of this property had commented that the homeowner and her family made you feel as if you were a part of their family. I would agree whole-heartedly with that assessment. She (and her family) were extremely accomodating, and offered rides to the grocery store and to the market. The homeowner offered tips and advice about the island, which was perfect for persons like us, who were newcomers to the Bahamas. The property is wonderful. It is clean and new (it seems five to ten years old to me). It is quite spacious. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for preparing meals, if you so desire, and a full dining table for eating. The couches were very comfortable, and the television had a number of channels (including two Canadian channels). My wife and I decided to not rent a car; we walked the five minute walk to the main road/beach area, and then hopped on the public buses or walked to our destinations. Our two year old loved the buses! He also loved the children's playground at one of the nearby beaches. I wish the homeowner and her family continued success with this property; I only hope that this property is available for our next vacation period! Mike and Melanie and Little Robbie
