  The condo had an amazing view and location. They provided all items needed and more. The owner was hard to get in contact with through phone but responded to e-mails pretty well. However, the condo needs a lot of updates. The water in the bathtub would not turn off all the way and the cold water handle was broken. The mattress hurt our backs and needs to be replaced. Also, the door to the condo looks like it has been broken into before and the chain lock was broken.

  We have truly enjoyed our stay at Eric's place two years in a row!! The accomodations are perfect for two. There are ample linens, great efficiency kitchen with fridge, microwave and hot plates. We shopped locally for groceries for breakfast and several dinners. We utilized the grills a few nights a week, and walked down to the restaurants the other nights. We stayed busy with swimming, parasailing, jet ski rental, and scooter rental. We spent time relaxing on the first floor patio, overlooking the pool and the beach. We woke up to glorious sunrises overlooking the ocean and dolphins!! Enjoyed each stay tremendously and Eric was a fabulous host. He answered calls by phone very promptly!! Thank you for sharing this true Ocean Jewel, Eric!! Bruce and Diana D.

  We stayed March 2010 and absolutely loved the place! the view was great, the location was great, and we had an amazing time! Will stay here again for sure! We hated to leave when our time was up and can't wait to be able to go again!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  My husband & I always come to Daytona Beach for fun, relaxation & for our Anniversary (July1st) we always stayed in a hotel but this time I wanted to try something different and rent a Condo, this one was GREAT..we stayed here June 12th-19th and it was absolutely wonderful, The Pier and the Boarswalk was within walking distance we totally loved the location it's close to everything. When we plan for our vacation next year we will definately rent this room again. Thank you Eric you'll be hearing from me again.

  My Husband and I stayed in this unit just after Easter 2009 and we hated to leave when our week was up! The location in the complex is very private and the views are just as pictured. The interior is bright and has been well maintained. There is no stove but the microwave, fridge and sink were more than adequate to make meals for 2 people. TV reception was good and the cable channels plentiful. The unit is within walking distance to Sun Splash Park as well as the Boardwalk & Main Street attractions. I would have given this property an excellent rating except for the following reason: The king size bed, although very comfortable, sits low to the floor. We slept well every night but with bad knees, getting up in the morning was a an 'event'. I'm going to recommend to the owner that he install a set of 4 inch bed risers to the bedframe that would raise the matress height thus making it easier for older adults. All in all this was a wonderful vacation unit and I'd stay there again at the drop of a hat, even if I had to bring my own bed risers!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
