We stayed here for my Mom's 70th birthday recently and it was just fantastic. Navin is such a kind person and was very accomodating in answering our questions and providing suggestions about where to eat, etc. in the city. He has amazing taste and has renovated his home to a very high standard. The pictures look good on vrbo but the real thing is even better in person! Lots of room, high ceilings, lovely ornate details in keeping with the Victorian era and decorated to combine modern touches with period pieces. I am a design afficiando and was totally impressed. This is an amazing "home away from home" and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The home was ideally located for taking public transit, so you don't need a car. Just a short walk to the nearest Muni train/cable car station. The Castro area is really funky- very like the West End in Vancouver/B.C. where I live. We really enjoyed walking the streets and felt very safe there. Next time we come for a visit to San Fran we will be sure to stay here again. Thanks for everything Navin!

Dear Navin, thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautifully decorated house in San Francisco. It is just perfect, everything we needed was there. Thanks to your house we came "home" every night after a day of visiting San Francisco. Thanks again, Alexandra

Dear Navin, There is an expression that says "Live and Learn,"I wonder why it took so long to find out that there is places and people on earth that would makes us feel right at home from the first moment you. How wonderful it was for me to get to know you and your great hospitality. You are proving a place that is filled with love and comfort. truly a paradise. Thank you again, Mahnaz

Lovingly and luxuriously restored Victorian splendour with quality equipment and superb fittings throughout, in a convenient location - all this AND a kind helpful landlord - no hesitation in recommending this home from home to stay in when visiting San Francisco. Check out Tartine Bakery and Bi-Rite on 18th and go from there!

We rented both upper and lower levels for our families to stay on our wedding week. Both levels were beautifully furnished with many caring details and excellence accommodations. Our families from Canada, Hong Kong, and Sacramento had a wonderful stay and would still talked about it till today! The six-burner stove was especially impressive. We had many memorable meals and gatherings in the house! High end appliances on both levels, the wine cooler fridges were such a nice touch. Navin is a very sweet guy and so pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this place and will definitely revisit for future stays! The fireplace at the patio is a steal!! Thank you Navin~

We have only good things to say about the Dolores Park Victorian property...it was absolutely PERFECT. The house is lovely - the pictures online are good, but do not do justice to the size and beauty of the property. Not only is it located in a prime spot (easy to access transportation, safe neighborhood, etc), but the property itself is exquisite. Everything about it is charming and comfortable. We give this place 5 stars and not only would we recommend it to anyone we know, but we will most definitely stay there again upon returning to San Francisco.

thanks again Navin for the extremely high standard of accomodation you prepared for us. it really made our first visit to the city extra special and was a joy to return to after a hard day's sightseeing. the apartment is huge and is beautifully decorated throughout with lots of great details and subdued lighting. it was great to have 2 bathrooms as there were 3 of us, and also having a washing machine and tumble dryer was really useful as we were there for over a week. I would recommend without hesitation, its the best apartment we have ever stayed in xx stuart, richard and stewart from Scotland

What an awesome place!! We had a wonderful time in the city not in small part due to the great "at home" feeling while staying at the Dolores Park Victorian. The unit itself is sooo comfortable, in a perfect location, and is beautiful. It gave us the opportunity to feel what it is like to actually live in the city which was part of the reason for our stay. Until we are able to arrange the move, we will only stay at Navin's great place. Thank-you, Navin- we will see you again soon!! Hugh, Rick and Kiernan- Henderson (Las Vegas), NV

The house is even better than what it looks like on the internet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great Victorian house. I can not imagine that there is anything better to stay in in whole S.F.. Apart from the incredible interior, Navin, the host is what makes this place truly special. He happily shared all his knowledge about the town and neighborhood with us, he helped us find the perfect restaurant for a special evening, organized a babysitter and looked after our kids when the babysitter was late. So whenever you are looking for a home away from home - this is definitely the best place you could come to.

Navin: After meeting you and staying in your wonderful Victorian home, I will not stay in a hotel again when visiting San Francisco if your home is available. My wife, daughter and son-in-law felt right at home and appreciated the nights sitting around the fireplace on the patio. It was truly a home away from home. Thanks for your hospitality.

Your home provided me with the perfect accommodations. It is in a great location, and although I was by myself I felt very safe and comfortable. It made me wish I were staying for more than just a long weekend!

When you first enter the house you feel like it's your home, or the home you wish you had...! Coffee in the back garden, reading the paper on the tall front steps, the gourmet grocery, the park, sunny windows and high ceilings, the BEST ice cream shop a block away...it was perfect.

I do not know why anybody visiting SF would elect to stay in a hotel when a place as nice as this is available. The house was wonderful and the location was perfect for a splendid weekend in the heart a great city. Thanks so much!
