Three-Story Home on Forested Acre Near Colorado River - Private home built new in 1998. Views of Storm Peak, a forest of pine trees, and sounds of the river are enjoyed from our large deck while cooking on the gas grill. Acre sites mean peace and quiet from neighbors.
Walk to your own private access to the Colorado River for fly fishing. Sail boat and pontoon boat rentals and some of the best fishing in the Rockies is all here on one of the three major lakes (Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, or Granby Reservoir).
The Grand Lake Golf Course and Cross Country Ski Touring Center are three miles away. Restaurants, gift shops, miniature golf, horseback rides, repertory theater, and the best Fourth of July fireworks in the mountains are in Grand Lake.
Hike in Rocky Mountain National Park or drive Trail Ridge Road to see big horn sheep, moose, and herds of elk.
Do not miss the historic Grand Lake Lodge for fine family dining with lake and mountain views. Fall aspen viewing and elk season are spectacular too. In the winter, ski Winter Park - just a 45-minute drive or snow mobile in the Grand Lake area on groomed trails.

Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake
We have visited the mountains from Denver for many years and tookthe opportunity to buy this house when it was new. The access to the lakesand the Parkmakeit perfect for us.
The Unique Benefits at this Home
The area is extremely quiet at all timesand is more than a mile from the state highway which goes to Grand Lake. The lack of regular traffic means that walking the area down to the Colorado River is safe and enjoyable.
