This was our first time in the Key West area-and it was wonderful! The condo was clean, modern, and very comfortable. I felt right at home! We went with anohter couple and did not feel cramped at all. Loved the bikes! And the pool! It is actually an ideal location because there is plentyto do right around the development--but Duval Street is also close-so you can go every day if you want. We will keep this place in mind if we have the opportunity to travel to key West again.Thanks Judy!

What a surprise! The photos and description of "Tee by the Sea" are truly accurate!! The condo is clean, decorated so nicely in that key west fashion, and everything listed was available (washer,dryer, coffee maker, coolers, grill,sheets, towels, etc.) . Our friends were thrilled they could grill a turkey on Christmas Day and we could prepare the rest of the meal in your lovely kitchen. It was wonderful that we didn't have to go out for all of our meals. We loved the "Hogfish" grill. Had drinks there in the afternoon while bike riding and dinner there twice. Nice folks working there. We enjoyed the pool each day. The landscape around the pool is just lovely. It was so relaxing to sit and read or take a dip. The bikes were a big reason that we chose your condo and then because our daughter was on crutches, we didn't get to ride into Duval Street....next time.We were happy that we had a car to travel into Key West because to taxi would have been expensive for 6 of us. We would recommend this condo to friends and family.Esp. folks that don't need the noise of Duval Street all the time. And with the liquor store just next door, we probably saved LOTS of money making our own drinks. Thanks Judy, it was a Christmas to remember..temp 80.

What an awesome time!!

My family and I stayed on this property the first week of June for three nights after a cruise. It was way cheaper than getting 2-3 hotel rooms. As we entered the teens yelled out "wow" and "cool". Having the bikes to use was a great touch. The teens went to the nearby museum and enjoyed riding alongside the water. Duvall st was a hit for my husband and I. We loved making our own breakfast and lunch. I was sooooooo happy to be able to do laundry and go home with clean clothes. The owner was extremely helpful and answered several questions on several phone calls to her. We can't wait to go back, thank you for such an awesome time.

Key West Wedding

My boyfirend, 2 other couples and I chose "Tee By The Sea" for a Key West wedding we were attending. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Judy. The house was beautiful, comfortale and convenient- not to mention immaculate and the kitchen had all of the appropriate anemities that we needed. The ease of booking, checking-in, checking- out were all a breeze! We had an opprotunity to meet Judy's husband and he recommended a delicious marina view restaurant for lunch, "Hog Fish"- it was out of this world! I would recommend this home to any family and friends traveling to Key West and we would love to come back for another stay in the future. Thank you for everything! - Ashley

Great Location, Affordable Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The kitchen was well furnished. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Judy was very helpful and provided us with dining and activity recommendations. Our favorite activity was taking the bikes on a scenic ride down through Key West. We would love to visit again and stay longer!

Wonderful place to stay for a Key West Vacation!

Wonderful home and location!! Everything was clean, as written and wonderful, including the heated pool and workout room. We rode the bikes the 4.5 miles into Key West almost every day, and then headed home for a late night swim. The only downfall was the road noise out back, but we were expecting it from the other reviews. We had a faulty fork the first day, but Judy stopped by and replaced it as soon as we called. We also road the bikes to the Lobster Co. for lobsters and snow crab legs - best prices and it is located by the dock on Stock Island, which is very close to the condo. The other thing we loved about the place was the very friendly residents and visitors. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Great stay for Key West wedding!

My daughter, myself and my parents stayed here for a long weekend to attend a wedding in Key West. The condo was perfect for our needs....plenty of space, well stocked, and so clean! Very short,easy drive into Key West. My daughter and I took the bikes for a ride along the bike path into Key West and along the water. The pool and pool area were nice and very well maintained. After having issues with our travel down there, it was great to have such nice accomodations when we reached our destination!

Great Family Vacation

We stayed in Judy's condo from July 16-26, 2011. Myself, husband and two boys (18 & 15) were extremely happy with our stay. The condo was very clean, comfortable and equipped with just about everything you could need. The pool was just a few steps away and very refreshing!! The location was a short drive to Duval St. (which we visited many times), beaches and very reasonable grocery stores. There was a great basket in the kitchen area with a wealth of information on activities. I would definitely recommend parasailing.....jet skiing on the ocean is a bit choppy, but a great experience!! ;-) The pictures you see are actually what you will walk into when you arrive. Thanks, Judy, for renting us such a great place to stay during our family vacation!!!

The condo was finet..A huge plus to having a washer and dryer in condo.The one negative thing was the noise of the traffic.The back of the condo is on the main route.VERY NOISY! We would have loved to sit on back patio but were yelling over all the cars.Could only use the bedroom in the front, to loud to sleep in back bedroom.Otherwise,the condo itself was clean and nicely decorated. Location was fine also..You could ride bikes but a car is needed..Fun trip!

The condo was everything advertised! The pool area was beautiful. The bikes are a nice touch and handy. All the amenities from the kitchen items and appliances, to the bathrooms, bedding, furniture were exceptional. We would definately consider staying again.

The condo is great. Everything in the property is very, very nice. The pool is beautiful and very nice. Our only problem with the condo was the noise from the highway. We had planned to enjoy the balconies and really could not because of the traffic noise. The bikes were not in good repair. My husband is handy, so he and our friend were able to fix 2 of the bikes so that we could use those.

Recommended for: Sightseeing

We seldom have any of our guests comment on the highway noise and many of our guests have said they enjoyed the front and the rear porches for coffee in the mornings and reading. We do strive to maintain a high standard regarding the condo and the amenities we offer. We try to stay on top of all aspects of the condo and keep everything in proper running order. When we have busy months with check outs and check ins on the same day, we do our best to keep on top of the bikes working condition but we are human and sometimes something can be missed. I wish you would have called us immediately when you noticed the issue with the bikes as i am very diligent about addressing my guests requests or any issues that may occur while guests are visiting immediately. We were never informed of the bikes disrepair during your stay so thus we could not fix the problem. I have since taken all of the bikes to my bike mechanic and have had them tuned up and brought to proper working order. We would hope to have you visit us again in the future and we thank you for your staying with us and writing your review.

In Key West for a week

The condo was just right for the two of us in different bedrooms. The pool was nice. The location was about five miles away from Key West but driving around was easy. Everything in the condo was laid out nice. Restaurants close. Only bad thing I can come up with is that is backs to the highway that make traffic noise. This will keep me from coming back to this spot.

Owner response: I'm glad you were able to stay with us for your visit. However, just to clearify something incorrect that you stated. The condo is less than a 1/4 mile from the entrance to Key West, not 5 miles like you stated. It is 5 miles from downtown Duval St. The condo is only 1 1/2 miles from the Key West airport and 2 miles to the nearest Key West beach. I'm sorry the noise from the traffic bothered you. It's very seldom that any of my guests make comment on this so it's regretful that you choose not to stay with us again. I have several repeat guests that continue to book annually and semi-annually. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. Very well kept and has almost everything you need. We enjoyed taking the bikes out. And the drive was very short to key west. Inwould definitely recommend this place to others and would love to go back myself.

4 of us stayed at Judy's condo to enjoy FantasyFest but still be far enough away to have some peace and quiet too. Accommodations were all they said it would be and we weren't disappointed. Would have been helpful if some condiments had been left behind (made it more expensive to eat in, having to buy things you were only going to use a little of), but that was the only drawback. We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back again. Place was clean and conveniently located. Pool was a big plus too!

Stayed for a week at Judy's condo with my two teenagers, and hated to leave! The condo is absolutely beautiful with everything you need. We used the bikes to ride all over the island, and loved coming back to the amazing pool after a hot day. This was our first time to Key West, and definitely will not be our last. We stayed at the condo in April with our two boys. We walked in to the condo and loved it immediately. It was immaculate! It had everything that we needed. The furniture was nice and comfortable. The location was perfect as it was just outside the busy parts of Key West. We loved the bikes and used them throughout the whole week. The pool was terrific too. We definitely want to return. We loved it. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!!!!!!

Clean, comfortable and relaxing

We stayed at Tee by the Sea in March. It was wonderful! The property is gated and very safe. The pool area is like your own personal oasis - very relaxing and quiet. Judy's condo is very clean, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation, including the bikes, which we used extensively since we didn't rent a car. My only negative comment would be the plastic mattress protectors (hot & sweaty), which we rectified by putting a blanket over the sheet and sleeping on that. The best buy for transportation into Key West is the city bus ticket. For $8, you get a ticket that is good for an entire week. If you need to get somewhere fast, get a cab, otherwise the bus works well. Be sure to check out the local eateries - especially The Shrimp Shack (also known as Fishbusterz) and the Hogfish (not to be confused with Hogsbreath). Yummy! All within an easy bike ride from Tee by the Sea. If you're into cooking your own, the Shrimp Shack has an awesome fresh fish market where you can buy the catch of the day and cook it yourself! The Key West pink shrimp is to die for. We'd stay at Tee by the Sea again. It was great!

In your review you stated that the beds were a little uncomfortable due to the plastic mattress covers that you said made them hot. Being that i truly value all of my guests oppinions and am always striving to improve my accommodations, it begs the question.... I am not sure what you are referring to when you say the plastic cover made the bed hot and sweaty, as i do have a plastic mattress protector on each mattress but then on top of that i have a fitted cotton mattress pad and then my fitted sheet goes over that on the mattress. So i am confused as to how the mattress was hot or sweaty. If you could be so kind as to give me a little more info so i can understand, i would greatly appreciate it. I have never had any other guest mention anything about the beds being hot and sweaty, so i am anxiously waiting to get to the bottom of this issue. We just returned from our week stay at the "Tee by the Sea". We absolutely loved the condo and Key West! The pictures do not do it justice!!! We loved the decor, large open rooms, upgrades in every room, flat panel TV and BOSE sound system in the living room. First class all the way! The bedding was amazing and the jaccuzzi tub helped me forget about my work back at home! The large tropical pool was empty almost every day and I had it all to myself!!!! I bought a raft and relaxed the days away! Judy even had bikes that we rode every night down to Duval. My favorite was the pink cruiser! If you don't book Tee by the Sea, you are CRAZY! Judy, get ready for me to book next August 2010!!!! Back to work and I have a Key West hangover! Missing Key West already and we only left 5 days ago :(

May daughter and I stayed here for a graduation celebration in May, What a wonderful condo, we couldn't have asked for anything nicer. Clean and perfectly appointed. The trip was awesome, coming back in August.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche auf Key West verbracht. Das Appartment war eher eine Doppelhaushälfte und einfach perfekt. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr gepflegt und sicher. Wenn Sie mit dem Auto unterwegs sind, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Es liegt abseits vom Trubel aber in max 10 min sind Sie mitten drin. Im Haus selbst ist an alles gedacht. Die Ausstattung ist sehr geschmacksvoll und hochwertig. Neben jeder Schlafmöglichkeit (2 Schlafzimmer und eine ausklappbare Doppel Couch unten) gibt es eigenes Badezimmer mit Ankleide oder zimindest die Toilette. Und jedes Zimmer hat ein Fernsehen mit einer riesen Programmauswahl. Was für uns mit einem Teenager schon wichtig war und das Leben während der Regentage erleichtert hat. Wir haben schon in verschiedenen Länder dieser Erde private Wohnungen gemietet aber diese ist wirklich das Geld wert. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt in der Nähe, sowie der Burger Kind (Wenn Sie mal keine Lust haben zu kochen der auf der Duval Street den Massen entgehen môchten). Ansonsten ist dazu nur zu sagen, dass die Insel selbst, die Architektur, schräge Typen auf dicken Hurleys, die Strasse von Miami bis Keys einfach ein Traum sind und uns, die Amerika schon mal die Kulturlosigkeit unterstellen, eines besseren belehrt. Wir haben es genossen.

We recently stayed in this condo for my graduation present, and I must say, the condo was beautiful! The rates were better than any other rates I was able to find on the Island. My family and I have already decided that on our next trip to Key West, this condo will definately be the place we stay.

We recently returned from a girls trip 4oth Birthday Celebration. We LOVED your condo! It was spottless and had everything we could ever need. We stayed at the pool most of the time! Not crowded at all! We all loved the location - away from the crowds but close enough to drive into town to see the action. The clubhouse was also very nice. We used the bikes to make quick trips to the local grocery store. We are planning our next trip and we will for sure stay here at Judy's place. Judy was so nice and helpful. Our trip was wonderful and so relaxing.

Comments: We stayed 2 weeks in early February in this beautifully decorated and equipped condo. It had all we needed... and the pool and grounds were great for sun time and exercise. My friends and I stayed here for Key West Race Week 2009 in January and had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed this condo. Beautifully decorated and tons of space, we spent as much time in the condo as enjoying our vacation out and about. Everything you would ever need is provided and from the showers to the linens to the dishes this is a spectacular unit. This condo community is top notch and it truly is the best deal on the island! Looking forward to renting from Judy in the future, she is very accomodating and helpful, we loved our stay at "Tee by the Sea", just wished it was longer!

Judy, Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautifully tiled, super clean townhome for our Thanksgiving Week. After battling cancer for 7 months it was a pleasant arrival for us to your home. We enjoyed the comfort, convenience to everything, bicycles and especially the tropical heated pool. We plan to tell everyone how wonderful our stay was and wanted to say thank you again for sharing it with us.
