Everything was as advertised in this home, was the perfect place to come "home" to after a long day at the parks, much better than retiring to a hotel room. House was CLEAN and had everything we needed. We have been to Orlando 5 different times and stayed in many different hotels, this will be the way we vacation every time now. Hope the house is open again the next time we come to Orlando. Thanks again.

Our stay was wonderful. Everything was perfect, we could not ask for more. The kids loved the games room and pool. It's so close to Disney. We had a wonderful stay at your home. The location was ideal. We all determined it was a "perfect" vacation! We cooked a Thanksgiving dinner and only had to bring a couple items from home. Your kitchen is well stocked!

We had a wonderful time and having a great place to stay just added to the enjoyment. We were very, very pleased with your home and are thankful we found it. With the heat nearing 100 every day the pool has really been a life saver, especially to the boys who are playing 2 games a day at ESPN Wide World of Sports baseball complex. I will certainly recommend your place to any and all we know who might be planning a stay in the Orlando area. Our 13 night stay was split 3 nights/10 nights. The location of this property to Walt Disney World, Grocery Stores, and restaurants is fantastic. It is easy to get to and yet on a cul-de-sac and very private. The pool is in great shape and well maintained. The house furnishings are average decor, but certainly pleasant and clean. Fantastic flat screen TVs and video games in each bedroom kept the boys entertained and were quite impressive. We had a challenge with bugs, but one email to the owners and the management company was right on top of the situation. It was handled promptly and followed-up upon by the owners, who care deeply about their clients. I have rented other homes and I agree that they may wish to add a few more amenities (like paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper) for start up, but really, for the money, this house is a bargain. It is lovely, well maintained (although the game room showed some wear and tear), and very clean. Plus, the location cannot be beat! The owners care and are eager to correct challenges promptly if they occur at all.

Owner response:We have a good Management Company but take full responsibility of ensuring our guests are looked after at all times so I would like to say thank you for all the positive comments received and appreciate all suggestions and feedback to make our home a great place to stay. Any problems with bugs are very few and far between and we take extreme care to ensure pest control is at the top of the list as this is Florida, and nobody is immune, and we have very high standards of care and attention.

What a wonderful first experience! Disney was absolutely fantastic, but being able to come "home" and put our feet up after a long day of walking was fabulous. This property is really close to the Disney entrances, about 10 minutes. Winn Dixie grocery store right down the street and Wal*Mart within 10 miles. The property was just like the pictures showed it to be, was very clean and well maintained. I will certainly rent this property again and recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you so much for making our stay a very memorable one!

Great stay

The listing description was very accurate and the displayed photos did reflect the house appearence. I was surprised when the owners call during our stay and asked if everything was ok and if they could do anything to improve our stay. I loved the distribution of the house. We were 2 families with 2 kids each (ages ranging fro 5 to 9). The house was very comfortable, even being a total of 8 people. The house has great recliners, pool is in great shape, and water is mantained at a convenient temperature with roof heating system. The beds and lining is average or just above average. Dishes are OK. Games in the games room (garage) are in average condition and mostly targeted for kids. I would recommend this property to friends mainly because of location, house distribution, neighborehood and a strong interest of the owners to make the stay a great stay. We just did Disney the whole week, and did not do other attractions.

We do, of course, provide extra pool heat for the cooler months of the year, but this is not always required so we usually suggest a 'wait and see' approach as this can be provided if required. We do try to maintain good quality linens and kitchenwares, replacing broken items immediately they are reported, and renewing as necessary when we visit ourselves. We consider it very important to provide the sort of environment that we would wish for ourselves and are pleased that this seems to be the case.

The Disney Experiance Plus

Our trip to Disney (4 day Pass) was made even more enjoyable by the proximity of this great home. My two grands, My children, my wife, and my mom and dad found plenty to do, on the other 6days of our stay, Making Breakfast in your adequately appointed kitchen and eating out at the many restaurants in the immediate vicinity was great. The only unfortunate part was it was too cold to use the great pool in your great screened in porch, I did however sit out by the pool to read, it was great quiet time, away from the family .When we decide to go back to Disney we will certainly look you up.

Owner response:We are so glad you had such a wonderful time and although our solar pool heating is very efficient, gas pool heat is available for the times when we are not able to control the temperatures of the pool through cold outside temperatures. A great place to stay…. We spent a week at this property with our two grandchildren to visit DisneyWorld. The location was fantastic….close to the parks, groceries, restaurants and shopping. Everything we needed was close at hand and easily accessible. The house was clean and well maintained. There was a good supply of linens, towels and pool towels…all in good condition. The pool and the games room were greatly enjoyed by the two kids. The house is equipped generously with TV’s. gaming consoles etc . and the WiFi and free long distance for calling home to Canada were greatly appreciated. We had a small problem with insects….wasps and ants….at the front door when we arrived, however the property management firm responded to our call immediately to rectify the problem. All communication with the owners was prompt, courteous and informative. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide a bit more by way of housekeeping supplies. Other VRBO properties we have stayed at provided a “set up” to last a week when we checked in. This time we had to purchase, paper towels, toilet tissue and dish detergent and we used groceries bags in the garbage pail as only a few were provided. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to visit this property again or recommend it for anyone thinking of visiting the Orlando area.

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We were pleased with the house itself. Perhaps we just weren't used to all the spiders in Florida, but they were everywhere. We have stayed at many hotels in Florida in the past and have never seen spiders like this. We killed several spiders in one bedroom that was supposed to be my youngest daughters room. Even after we killed them she refused to sleep in there. It's good we had a king size bed because she ended up in our bed. The pool was also a problem. When we arrived, the pool was dirty and there was a dirty band-aid floating in it (yuck). We called and were told that the filter was broken. It was taken care of the next day. After that the pool itself was nice but we were unable to enjoy the pool area, again, because of the spiders. There were hundreds of them on the patio. The very nice lounge furniture around the pool was covered in spiders. Even my husband would not sit on the furniture. We were not able to enjoy the pool at all. Although the house was nice, we would never stay there again due to the spider issues.

Owner response:An investigation was carried out by our pest control company as soon as this complaint was made (5 weeks after the guests had stayed) this followed two separate stays by guests who reported no problems whatsoever, the report by our pest control company had no evidence of any spiders or any other insects in the property. We take pest control in and around our property very seriously and have regular inspections to ensure this sort of thing does not happen. This guest did not report any problems to our management company during their stay.

We stayed in your home from Mar. 26 - April 1 2010. It was definitely better than staying at a motel. My parents accompanied our family of 4 on vacation. We were able to spend time together in a home environment. The home is very well equipped and designed for groups of 6-10 visitors. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and the commute to Disney and other attractions is very easy. Shops and dining are just minutes away. I would recommend your home to anyone visiting the Kissimmee area.

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a vacation to Disney World. It is very conveniently located...only about 20 minutes to the parks and easy to get to, with necessary conveniences close by (grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy, etc). And the house has everything that you could want to make your stay comfortable...much better than staying in a hotel. We were able to get up and have breakfast at the house every morning, packed sandwiches for lunch, and had dinner at the house most nights so we were able to save a lot of money not having to pay for meals at the park. The house has lots of space so my family was able to spread out and relax at night and not get in each other’s way. I looked forward to returning "home" after being at Disney all day...relaxing on those couches, very comfy!

Absolutely wonderful! A beautiful house equipped with everything we needed to feel like we were at home. Perfect location to Disney, especially when taking a theme park break for children's naps. We came back to the house for lunch and a nap and returned to the Magic Kingdom until the fireworks. On our non-theme park day, we enjoyed the pool and took our daughter to the play ground just 2 blocks away. We have recommended your house to friends and family.

we just returned from our week at your house. We were thrilled with your place. It was everything as described. The house was so big that the 3 families had lots of room to roam, play and have quiet and privacy when needed. The location was superb. Everything you need is so close from groceries, shopping, great restaurants and of course the short hop to the Disney gate. Thanks for creating such a comfortable and well furnished paradise.
