Gorgeous contemporary - two bedroom, custom adobe home, in the beautiful El Salto area of Taos, New Mexico.
Situated on acres of beautiful forest with amazing views of the sunsets and the town of Taos.
The house is complete with all the amenities you need. The house is perfect for two couples or one couple with two children. There is also a large sectional sofa for the additional member.Four wheel drive vehicles are essential for safety and access to all of Northern New Mexico after mid November to Early April. We are located ten miles from the Taos plaza and ten from the legendary Taos Ski Valley (finally open to snowboarding). Great hiking and mountain biking trails right out the back door.
** As a professional fly fishing guide and ski instructor with over 15 years experience, I am always willing to assist my guests with guided fishing and private ski tours and lessons for the family. The Taos area has quality private water nearby and incredible skiing and other outdoor activities. Please ask for more details.

Why the Owner Chose Taos
I built this house in 1996 with the help of some amazing craftsmen...There is really no way to describe this area of Taos. Its just the best real estate in Taos The forest and hiking is at your back door.The pines are tall and amazing.The place has an alpine feel with plenty of snow in the winter without being way up in the Taos Ski Valley. The views from the up stairs deck at 880 square feet are incredible...Well I could go on, but just ask any one about El Salto!

Hi, Folks I've been in Taos for fifteen years and have been a fine wood worker who makes furniture and cabinets.I also have been a raft guide, a fly fishing guide and a guide for just about any outdoor sport you can imagine.I built this house in 1996,so you can imagine put a lot of heart and soul into it. Well there is so much more to say but I wont get carried away.
I just know that there is not a better place to stay in Taos than at Las Posadas in El Salto just ask anyone who's lived here for a while, this is paradise! Happy Vacationing, Jamie
