The cottage is fully equipped with internet, washer/dryer, full entertainment system including a 60 inch LCD in loft, 20 inch LCD in kitchen, 37 inch LCD in Master, complete multi zone home audio system (self-controlled speakers in all main rooms), steam shower, pool table, hot tub, Muskoka granite fireplace, stainless steel BBQ, car parking for 5 cars easily. The cottage is 10 minutes from both Bala and Port Carling (by boat and car) and close to a marina.
Built from Insulated Concrete Forming and Douglas Fir Timbers, the cottage is both architecturally strong & unique. The cottage is heated in the winter with in -floor heating. Making it an amazing winter get away.
Because of the techniques used in the construction; the cottage is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with this rental home. Each room was exactly as described from the website. This home has top of the line amenities with everything you could possibly need. We were traveling with a toddler and this rental had everything we needed to make our stay as much like home as possible. We spent most of our vacation cruising the lake system and the commute was a breeze from this location. Launching of a boat over 20' can be tricky using the launch facilities across the road (not recommended...very tight with limited manouvering space...use the public launch in Port Carling). I would recommend this rental location to others and are already looking forward to a return visit in the near future. Thanks Jason for everything...beautiful place! Cheers, Bill, Cathy and Hunter A.
