Our one bedroom, one bath condominium sleeps 2 in the queen bed, with the option of sleeping 2 also on the queen sofa sleeper in living area. Located on the fourth floor, this unit affords awesome ocean front and mountain views that you cannot get in many other locations. Delight in watching the whales as they frolic in the Ocean right in front of the condo!! Whale season is from December - May, a great time to be in Maalaea!

Snorkel Trip Info: Enjoy snorkeling at both world famous Molokini crater and Turtle Town aboard the newest and most exciting charter vessel Hokua located at Maalaea Harbor.
The Hokua is 40 foot power catamaran with ultra quiet Eco-Friendly Jet Drives that was specifically built for Hawaii’s unique waters. She is Coast Guard approved to carry 35 passengers in comfort. Why go snorkeling on “cattle-marans” with up to 149 passengers when you can AVOID THE CROWDS. Experience the world famous Molokini crater and Turtle Town snorkeling adventure.
While on board, you will be treated to both a delicious continental breakfast as well as a premium deli-style lunch with all the fixings.
Refreshments including cold beer and mai-tais are provided at no extra cost. Hokua has lots of amenities to offer including a hot fresh water shower, optical masks, sport fishing, and wet suits.

First of all, Sandy the owner was really great to work with, very responsive to calls and emails, and really takes the time to go through everything in detail. This Milowai condo is very centrally located. It's a 10-20min drive to Kahului, Lahaina or Kihei. Since it was our first time in Maui, we wanted to try all parts of the island. The assigned underground parking was great. The view was also wonderful. We ate our breakfasts out on the lanai watching the surf. It really is as nice as the pictures posted by Sandy on this site! Having a washer/dryer was also very convenient and Sandy even provided a couple of packets of detergent and dryer sheets. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans which was great since eating out can get very expensive. We loved having the BBQ grill downstairs. (When we were there, salt, pepper and sugar were provided. If you want other spice, you'll have to buy or bring your own.) Before going, I had read that Ma'alaea isn't a good place to stay because it gets very windy. I found the wind to provide a nice breeze so that we didn't have to turn on the air conditioner at all -- just used the ceiling fans. The only time we found it to be too windy was when we got gale force winds but that doesn't happen normally the rest of the year (we were there in Feb). We didn't get to do the free Molokini Snorkel with Aloha Blue Charters due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, but Tim was very helpful to work with. We went with them on a whale watching trip and the captain and first mate who were very nice and informative. We still have the vouchers that can be used anytime so hopefully we will return soon! This condo is beyond perfect. The location is central to everything and Sandy was super helpful and accommodating. The house is stocked with everything (minus food) you could need to enjoy Hawaii (bedding, towels, cooking utensils and cookware, dishes, beach "toys"). We were able to go on the snorkel tour ad that was amazing, if you can, definitely go. We saw dolphins, turtles and whales while staying and playing here. The beach just steps away from the condo is long and perfect for a leisurely stroll at sunrise or sunset. I honestly can't say enough good things about Sandy or this condo. Everyone in the neighborhood is so nice and I felt very safe here. I think this may be a stop on many vacations to come.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Sandy's condo was perfect for my husband and I. Everything we could have needed plus some was available in the condo. The highlight of our entire trip was to be able to sit on the lanai and watch the whales play. The telescope was an added bonus. We were also visited by several turtles every evening just off the shoreline. The location was perfect and we would stay in Sandy's condo again in a heartbeat. We had a wonderful stay in Sandy's condo in Maalaea. Sandy was very helpful, accommodating, and available if needed. The condo was exactly as depicted. Clean, quiet, and stocked full of handy, dandy items one needs for day to day life and a great beach experience. We especially appreciated the phone as our cell service was limited. I can't say enough about the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the ocean - Absolutely awesome! The centralized location provided easy access to all parts of the Island. We partook in the Aloha Charters snorkel trip to Molokini. Thank you, Sandy. It was amazing with a small group, pleasant, professional service and we also saw whales, turtles and dolphins. A real treat for us landlubbers. We highly recommend this condo, Sandy, and the Aloha Charters to anyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed in this condo from Dec. 11 - 27th. It is everything listed on VRBO, plus more. The location of the condo is the best in the complex...top floor and closest to the ocean of all the 1-bedroom units. We were lucky enough to see turtles on two mornings, with their heads popping up right below us. And, of course, the whales - the telescope provides an up-close and personal experience. The condo was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The owner, Sandy, was such a pleasure to work with and very accomodating to make sure we had the best stay possible. We will stay in this unit again! Mahalo!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We just want to thank Sandra for sharing her home in Maui paradise with us--The unit was well provided with all one could ask for in a rental unit and more!!! We owned a unit in Maui and when we rented our unit we provided all those extra little goodies one needs and Sandra outdid herself--The unit was spotless--beach towels--beach chairs-umbrella and coolers were at our disposal for our beach trips which was a treat!! We would definitely recommend Sandra's home and we will most surely come back and stay here!!! My sisters and I stayed here from September 11-September 21 and this is by far one of the best we have ever stayed out!! Sandy is wonderful without a doubt if you have a concern she will address it immediately. This is convient to most anything you will need. Everything you will need to enjoy your vacation in this condo she has thought of. This was my 2nd stay there this year and would not hesitate to stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We had the pleasure of bumping into the owner Sandy in the hallway one of the first days in Maui. She heard her talking to guests about needing to check on us. She was very sweet and insisted we call if we needed anything. We never needed to! The condo was immaculate and had ALL the amenities we needed plus much more. We NEVER ate inside. The view from the balcony was too stunning. We watches the sun come up over the mountain and even turtles popping their heads out of the water. We were in heaven with our morning smoothies compliments of the fantastic blender she had. The condo was so inviting and well loved you couldn't help but enjoy your downtime there. The biggest plus to us was the location. Not only were the amenities on site wonderful, from the BBQ we used by the waterfront and the well maintained ground and pool, but my goodness...we were just a block away from 8 miles of beautiful beach to walk along and the harbor was also beside the property. The harbor front provided a fantastic family owned grocery store with fresh baked goods, craft fair with local trinkets, Maui snorkel shop to rent gear and the delicious Buzz's Wharf and Waterfront Restaurant. If you want the BEST chocolate molten cake baked while you wait you must go to the Waterfront Restaurant!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this charming and well kept home away from home. We will most certainly be back!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My husband and I stayed seven nights here and loved it! Great location with easy access to lovely beach in one direction and small town harbor in the other. No crowds to deal with, which was a delight. Condo was roomy and clean, nicely decorated, with a terrific balcony sheltered from the persistent wind in this part of the island. We'd definitely stay again!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
