Great location, Great condo

First of all, Sandy the owner was really great to work with, very responsive to calls and emails, and really takes the time to go through everything in detail. This Milowai condo is very centrally located. It's a 10-20min drive to Kahului, Lahaina or Kihei. Since it was our first time in Maui, we wanted to try all parts of the island. The assigned underground parking was great. The view was also wonderful. We ate our breakfasts out on the lanai watching the surf. It really is as nice as the pictures posted by Sandy on this site! Having a washer/dryer was also very convenient and Sandy even provided a couple of packets of detergent and dryer sheets. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans which was great since eating out can get very expensive. We loved having the BBQ grill downstairs. (When we were there, salt, pepper and sugar were provided. If you want other spice, you'll have to buy or bring your own.) Before going, I had read that Ma'alaea isn't a good place to stay because it gets very windy. I found the wind to provide a nice breeze so that we didn't have to turn on the air conditioner at all -- just used the ceiling fans. The only time we found it to be too windy was when we got gale force winds but that doesn't happen normally the rest of the year (we were there in Feb). We didn't get to do the free Molokini Snorkel with Aloha Blue Charters due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, but Tim was very helpful to work with. We went with them on a whale watching trip and the captain and first mate who were very nice and informative. We still have the vouchers that can be used anytime so hopefully we will return soon! This is our 3rd stay in this area and our first at this condo. It was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable and the owner is wonderful. We went out on two evening whale watches which we could walk to as the excursions take off from the harbor close by. Long daily walks and great food. Love this area and plan on coming back to this condo!! Quiet and peaceful here... just what we needed.

My girlfriend and I spent 4 days in this condo 2 weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Sandy was a pleasure to deal with and responded promptly to emails and questions. The condo really was one of the best equipped vacation condos that we have stayed in, everything you need is there and there were a couple of welcoming touches like champagne in the fridge which brought a smile to our faces and gives the experience a personal touch. The condo felt more like a home and had deckchairs, cooler and bits and pieces in the cupboards which you wouldn't want to buy for a few days stay and were really useful. The view from the condo is stunning, especially at sunrise. There was a pool that we didn't use but the grills which are literally feet from the sea were perfect for cooking in. Good secure parking with allocated space close to the elevator. Location is about ten mins from kihei and 10 mins from lahaina so it's a good location but you'll need a car. Would highly recommend this condo if you aren't bothered about being walking distance from the town and would definitely consider staying here again! Aloha Sandy,our stay in Maui was wonderful. Your condo made us feel like we were at home. Every thing that we needed to function with was available to use. Your telescope was an added bonus that made watching the turtles and surfers most enjoyable. The reserved parking space was wonderful. I will be telling all my friends all about your place. Hopefully my wife and I will be returning sometime in the future..Mahalo

Sandy's Condo... From the Kitchen - from the Couch and from the Lanai you watch and hear the waves rolling in! Sandy' is awesome - great wonderful experience. Her attention to detail is by far the best! The property is well groomed and the beach at the end of the drive goes for miles. AND the snorkel trip with Aloha Blue - WOW,,, great crew, they made everyone comfortable! Even have wet suits for rent for only $10. Thank you Sandy for a fabulous stay!

Best VRBO in Maalaea

We stayed here for a week in April 2011 and we will stay here again. This condo is exactly what you see in the pictures with the added benefits of covered parking and a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the high tourist areas. This condo is very well maintained and clean, from the moment you open the door you feel right at home. The only noise you hear are the waves hitting the shore. We watched the boats coming and going from the harbor while BBQ'ing dinner at the waters edge. We will definitely recommend this condo to our family and friends. Sandy, your attention to providing a great vacation rental far exceed most. Mahalo!
