The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room has a TV/DVD, internet, a stereo/CD, lots of games and a well stocked library. With hairdrier, beach towels, beach chairs and toys, sun hats, coolers and beach bags, all you need to bring is yourself and your friends and family! The ocean is just below the house across a small shore road. An excellent swimming and snorkeling beach is just a few minutes walk away. Vieques has, according to Forbes Magazine, "some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean". None are crowded and at many you will be the only one there. In Vieques there are no traffic lights and no casinos, but there are friendly people and an abundance of great restaurants. It is home to one of the best bioluminescent bays in the world. Vieques is a small US owned island between Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Vieques is affordable and easy to get to by a 20 minute plane ride from San Juan, Puerto Rico or by 1 1/2 hour ferry ride from Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
