Relax in the foothills of the beautiful Blueridge Mountains! Stay in a 200 year old Log Victorian home on six private, lovely acres and still be just minutes from the lake, river, Chimney Rock, three world class golf courses, shopping and recreational activities! We are located in Apple Valley next to Fairfield Mountains Golf and Beach Resort with many of their amenities open to the public. This unique home was built in the late 1700's as part of a plantation in Northern NC then rebuilt on this site. At that time Victorian accents (fireplace, leaded glass windows, woodwork and doors etc.) were added from the Eliot Mansion in Hickory, NC.

In the morning you can sip your coffee on the front porch watching the birds and butterflies. You may even see a deer strolling through! Enjoy the view or a good book in the gazebo or on one of the decks. After a fun filled day golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, shopping or sightseeing you can relax in the hot tub with a beverage of your choice!!! Fire up the grill for your favorite meal to be served in the sun room, dining room or on one of the decks. Don't want to cook? Enjoy dining at any of the fine restaurants in the area. You'll enjoy the tranquility of the evenings here under the stars while listening to the symphony of the katydids or enjoying a fire in the den while watching one of your favorite movies. You'll sleep like a baby in the comfortable beds with beautiful handmade quilts.

Your accommodations include 5 bedrooms - three with pillowtop queen-size beds, one with two twin beds, and one with a double as well as a double Murphy bed and daybed in the den; a large living room with beautiful Victorian accents; gorgeous sun room; dining room and den with large stone fireplace.
