Our house on a small hill overlooking Block Island Sound in the front and Potters Pond salt pond in the back. Each window has a view of one or both waters. Located just across the street from Matunuck Point which is perfect for sunbathing, surfing, crabbing and mussels. There are swimming beaches on either side; East Matunuck State beach is 200 yards one way and South Kingstown town beach is 300 yards the other.
The rental side has 4 bedrooms upstairs with two full beds, two full beds and a set of bunks. Downstairs are a kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. Both and back of the house have covered porches, You can even see the ocean from the back porch.
We've had families rent summer after summer. Many fishermen and women have come in the fall for the excellent striper and bluefish fishing right in front of the house. Indeed many surfers have rented from us to enjoy the excellent surf right in front. Birders also have rented to enjoy the salt marches and farm fields all around us. In the winter, we've had many come to enjoy the splendid isolation of a wave and wind whipped empty beach. A coming winter storm has brought many an adventurer to walk or surf through the snow. Why we've even been host to a school reunion and a place for a wedding party.
