I spent several days at this home with family to relax after the holiday rush was over. The home was warm and inviting. It had all the personal touches of being in my own home (games, candles, condiments, etc) but without the pressure to busy myself with the endless chores of home. The Sequim area is quiet and charming, which matched perfectly with this adorable and well kept home. Our favorite thing to do was sit in the sunroom, watch the deer on the golf course and play games. Our favorite coffee house was Hurricane Coffee; comfortable, convenient, caffeinated, cozy (and wi-fi in case you need to stay in touch:-). You will enjoy a visit here!

A great spot to stay!

We traveled with our friends & stayed at this cottage. It was a delight to stay there. It felt as if we were guests in someone's home as everything imaginable was provided. Upon arrival we found 4 cold beers in the frig & a bottle of wine. How nice was that after traveling all day. There is a sign on the frig to "help yourself to whatever is in there", that as well as what's in the cupboards. Very well thought out & stocked. It was a very comfortable place to be, clean & quiet. Plenty of sunlight & a nice view of the small golf course out back. We did see deer there as well as in the neighborhood. This is a great location to do side trips, we went to Victoria, BC one day, Port Townsend, drove to the Dungeness Rec area, Railroad Bridge & Hurricane Ridge. We had beautiful sunny days while there. It's also very close to picking up groceries in the town or eating out. Our favorite was the Dockside Grill at the John Wayne Marina. We would definetly recommend this property to a friend or relative. Wish our stay here would have been at the end of our trip instead of at the beginning as it was very relaxing to be there.

Marilyn New Mexico

This was a lovely vacation rental backing up to the golf course where deer would walk by in the early morning and again at dusk. It was easy to get to and easy to go to places from it. The Dungeness River is within walking distance which adds to the serenity of the location. The sun room and the deck were wonderful places to read, drink a cup of coffee, share a glass of wine and/or a meal. One of the pluses was that everything was labeled in the house and it was FULLY stocked with dishes and even food stuffs. We visited Port Townsend, about 30 minutes east, and ate on the wharf and went to Fort Worden. We visited Port Angeles, about 30 minutes west, and took in the local historical museum--very interesting and very well set-up. We saw the Railroad Bridge Park, the museum in Sequim, and walked on the spit. We also went to the local libraries in both towns. A drive up to Hurricane Ridge was well worth the trip and only takes about an hour one-way. Definitely a place I would rent again.

Olympic "Enchanted" Cottage

My fellow travelers and I could not have been more pleased with our experience at Olympic Cottage. From the extra added amenities provided by the owner, to the immaculate condition of the property, we felt "at home" immediately. Although we did not do any major cooking, there is every kitchen utensil one would need as well as a pantry and fridge filled with almost any condiment a cook would need. I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of visiting this scenic part of our country.As secluded as you feel tucked away on this private golf course, a Costco, Safeway, and Grocery Outlet are only minutes away.

Picture Perfect

We arrived to find a very welcoming and well maintained home. Our group was looking for a place to stay on the Peninsula while we golfed and relaxed. Olympic Cottage was perfect. Very well equipped for our stay and it was easy to see the owners placed a high importance on our comfort and satisfaction. We would easily recommend this property to friends and fellow travelers looking for a place in Sequim.

A positive addition to the mountains, water and trees

Two of us couples stayed in your home and had a great time using this as a base for exploring the peninsula. The house was homey, the beds were comfy, and the goodies in the kitchen and refrigerator and bathroom and bedrooms were like carrying out a treasure hunt. We loved the lazy boys throughout the living room, drinking the chilled bottle of wine, washing and drying our clothes, and munching chocolate. We felt well cared for, and found the suggestions for out of house activities, including restaurants, to be reliable. Your responsiveness, by phone, to our questions about wi-fi, was prompt and clear. We would be happy to visit you once again. Many thanks.

Great Experience

We had a great experience staying in this rental. It felt like we were guests staying in the home of a very good friend, who just happened to be away at the moment, and had told us to make ourselves completely at home! The stocked pantry was great. It was so nice to be able to cook without having to go out and buy every single little condiment or spice. The personalized touches were great and we really appreciated the recommendations on where to eat and shop. We enjoyed the fireplace at night. The kids had a fun time riding the tandem bike. Everything was super clean and the view of the golf course was incredible. Everything we needed was right there. All the other positive reviews below that influenced our decision to choose this rental turned out to right on. We would love to come back someday! Thanks Paula & Patrick!

This home is an exceptional value. The owners have created a wonderful haven with many great extra touches not often found in rentals. Great cooking utensils, condiments, quality dishes, wonderful and comfortable furniture, great quality bedding and linens. Plus the views to the lovely garden and golf course from the living and dining areas are restful and lovely. We will definitely return! I give this one of my highest recommendations ever. Many thanks to the owners for going the extra mile!

Heaven on Earth

We stayed at the cottage from June 7-June 13, 2011. It was everything that we imagined and hoped for. It felt like home the minute we stepped in. It is so wonderfully equipped and comfortable. It was exactly as described and great care has been taken to make sure you have everything that you could possible need. You could come there with only your own clothing and never want for anything...Everything is already there. I would recommend this property to anyone without any hesitation. It is very quiet and private but only about 5 minutes from town. The best of all worlds. We hope to be able to come back again. Paula & Patrick thank you for everything.
