Relaxing Retreat!

My partners and I started a business and we needed somewhere to celebrate (a retreat) comfortably while relaxing and enjoying each others' company. After lots of research on VRBO, I found this beautiful Terra Lago property. I'll start off by saying the pictures do not do this home justic. Walking in, you'll see beautiful high ceilings and an open floor plan filled with great areas to convene and relax with friends. The house is quite large, and the master bedroom is huge. I could say that maybe a few extra pieces of furtniture would've made that room look spectacular, but it didn't really affect us. The pool and foosball tables were definitely a great plus, especially since it was extremely hot outside during the day. So, it was nice to have a cocktail and play some games. The backyard was large and had plenty of room for our entire group, but I would've loved to have seen some lounge/pool chairs to lay back, read a book, or just enjoy a nice tan. However, with all that said, overall the house was wonderful, new, clean, bright, huge (but cozy), and loved by everyone in our group (of 10). Everyone said they would love to stay there again...very soon!

Great Time in the Desert

We had a great time in the desert. The house was amazing. It was very spacious and clean. The house had all the amenities we were looking for. It had a great living area. The kitchen was great for cooking. The rooms were nicely furnished. The outdoor area had everything we were looking for. The pool was great, the spa was nice and the built in BBQ was perfect for entertaining. We would highly recommend this property. Great time had by all.

It Was Paradise

What an amazing house. It was very comfortable and cozy. We had a great time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the built in BBQ and hanging out at the outside bar. I highly recommend this desert get away. It was all that was described and more.

Relaxing in Indio

I have stayed at this location several times and always find it very relaxing. The house is always clean when it's turned over to me. I enjoy the privacy of the pool, spa, and outdoor shower in the back, and the facilities at the club house. It's tucked away at the end of a cul de sac and the community is very nice. Especially for golfers. It's a little off the beaten track when it comes to Palm Springs, but I prefer that. Everything that Indio and the surrounding communities have to offer is a short car ride away. Fantasy Springs is great for a nice dinner, and every visit includes a trip to the WinCo (which is like no other place in the area!). I recommend this locaiton highly!

Great vacation home. House nicely furnished and love the pool table and foos ball game. Love the outdoor pool and spa. The outside bar area is nice for entertaining by the pool. Would recommend this house to all my friends for a great get away. I gave a 5 star review and well deserved.

Seemed nice at first, but was disappointing

I stayed in the house for 5 weeks. There were some hidden deficiencies that came to light after I moved in. The air conditioning filters were filthy. The sheets in the master bedroom were ripped and stained with what looked like bodily fluids. The pillows were shot. There was a neglected plumbing leak under one of the bathroom sinks with holes in the cabinet and drywall-- which led to a nightly infestation of crickets in the house. I have a whole list of things I purchased like a new plunger to replace the only one in the house that was held together with duct tape. The owners were slow to respond to my concerns about the crickets and only reimbursed me for a small percentage of the things I bought-- which I would consider basic things that a furnished home should have.

Owner response:It is unfortunate that this renter gave this response. He was staying at our home while he was working on a project in the area and only had issues with the place after his contract was ended prematurely and wanted a refund on the lease agreement he signed. Unfortunately we could not do that since we turned away other renters because we had a lease agreement with him. We have email after email from him stating how great the place was. We are always quick to respond to any issue with a renter. Our home is beautiful and is well maintained.
