This spacious log cabin offers much privacy within its wooded setting. Located in the gated log home community of Hidden Lake in McDowell County. Its sits approx 10 miles south of the town of Marion, NC, and is about a 20-25 minute drive over to Lake James State Park.
Home has a covered porch on front and back of cabin, great for wildlife viewing with deer and wild turkey seen in the area! The front porch has a 2-seater wooden swing, and the back porch has a nice seating/dining area. There is an open side deck with a propane grill.
The main level of this home has a large sectional in the great room with a pull-out sofa bed. The TV here has satellite service, along with a gas fireplace. Great room adjoins the dining area. Nice kitchen with large prep island and cooktop range. All new appliances. The large guest bedroom and bath with tub/shower combo. are also on the main floor. Stackable washer and dryer are available for your use.
Upstairs features a large open loft overlooking the living area below, with a comfy reading chair, TV & card table. Large picture windows fill the area with light. French doors open into the spacious master suite with king size bed and reading area. Bathroom is also off of master, with a stand shower & very cute custom sink bowl. A large walk-in closet allows plenty of room for your items.
Guests staying at this private escape also have use of the amenities within Hidden Lake featuring: lakeside boardwalk & fishing dock, seasonal in-ground pool, and pool house with bathroom & shower facilities, picnic & grilling areas, and walking trails.
We regret that we are unable to accept pets of any type. This is also a non-smoking residence. Starter supplies of paper products, dish and laundry detergents are provided. We are a short drive to Marion and Lake James State Park.

- The cabin has a nice binder in it featuring all sorts of maps, brochures, things to see & do, menus, etc. to help you find your way around the area more easily. There is also a small ironing board & iron for your use. The loft area has a small table that converts to misc. games for pool, checkers, etc.

Full balance due NO later than 1 week PRIOR to arrival.
Cleaning/Trash removal fee of $75 applies.
