This home was spectacular and we enjoyed ourselves to much... John & Jeanne were great to work with and made sure that our stay was exceptional. The home was equipped with everything that we needed. It was beautiful and so very clean. The view from the home in the evenings was breath taking. We cant wait to book our next stay in this home. Thanks again for sharing your home with us. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lakehouse. The newly-remodled home was beautiful and so well equipped. We had everything available to make our vacation satisfying. If we needed anything at all, John and Jeanne did everything to provide it for us. They were always available if we had questions, and our comfort during the months of February and March was their primary concern. The lake view from the side deck was lovely during the day and spectacular at sunset. In addition, every morning, we enjoyed our walk at Carney Island Park. This park, with its lush, green walking trail, is well-maintained and interesting with its foliage and wildlife. The neighbors nearby were friendly and generous with their time. We will not forget the kindness that they showed to us. The nearby Villages had great nightly entertainment and unique stores in each of the town squares. We also enjoyed programs and concerts at the Savannah Center. During the month of March, we enjoyed visits from various family members. All of them were quite impressed with the house and loved their visit there. We would certainly recommend this peaceful lakehouse to anyone wishing to see the lake area of Central Florida.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We truely enjoyed our stay in the Lake House during the month of March, 2010. The house was really gorgeous and the sky lights gave the house a warm sunny light all day. It was nice sitting on the deck or in the gazebo and looking out over the lake. Very peaceful. Everything we could possibly need for a month was provided. We gladly recommend the Lake House for a home away from home. John and Jeanne were easy to communicate with, always available, and very pleasant. A very good experience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Jan & Feb 2010 stay at the Lake House on Little Lake Weir. Peaceful, serene, beautiful and well maintained, this home is fully equipped and well located in Central Florida. My husband enjoyed the lake fishing and we all enjoyed the breathtaking sunsets from the deck. Carney Island Park, less than one mile from Lake House was a wonderful place to picnic, view nature at its best or just hike its trails. Dear John and Jeanne, We certainly had a great time for the 2 months we stayed at your beautiful, new lake house. Everything about the house is lovely and comfortable and it is very well furnished. The view of the lake and the quiet, rural setting make it a perfect place to relax. And it is only a few minutes from The Villages where the restaurants and shops are excellent. in january this year('09)my husband and i were the first to rent this wonderful, new home on little lake weir. what a delightful getaway from icy cincinnati, ohio. i especially enjoyed the wonderful view of the back yard and lake from the enclosed porch while i drank my coffee each morning, and the memorable sunsets from the deck each night. we also sipped fresh orange juice squeezed from the large, healthy orange tree in the front yard. as a gardener i loved walking thru the beautifully planted and terraced garden surrounding the home. throughout the week, the owner checked in on us by phone to see that we had everything we needed and to answer any questions about where to find whatever we wanted in the local area. i would highly recommend this beautiful florida home to anyone who was looking for a restful, scenic vacation.Did you find this review helpful?
