Dana and Tom were outstanding to deal with. Very personable people. We had two small girls and the beach was perfect. No huge waves and the crabs were plentiful there. Private parking was nice too. We were there on the 4th of July and it was a great spot to what fireworks from. Located near everything you could ever imagine doing or needing, it was perfect for us. Their neighors were fantastic and they always kept a watchful eye out. We felt safe, at home and we had an incredible time. Dana even hooked us up with the most awesome sitter for our girls so we could go out to dinner. Caitlyn, you are fanatastic! House was as described, pictures do not give it its due rewards. I think they should post better picture. :) I'd recommend this property to anyone

The home is clean, spacious, well furnished, and conveniently located. Not only do you walk out onto the bay beach, but you are 3 short turns to Shore Drive and Great Neck Rd. The sandbar located about 30 feet out made it feel safer for the little ones, and the beach was never too crowded... what a huge plus. Other homes I have rented have been sparsely or cheaply furnished -- not here. The kitchen accessories made cooking easy, and a grocery store was just a couple blocks away. The two dining areas made it easy to have an adults' table and a kids' table. We could tell we were in someone's home, and not just a house. There were books for the kids to read, games to play, beach toys and chairs, etc. And of course it has amazing sunsets from the deck or the generous master suite. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental.

What a great house. I mean, seriously!!!! It was clean. No. Wait. It was SPOTLESS. It was comfortable. It was cozy. It was such a perfect home for our family!!!!! The owners are THE nicest people, and were happy to rent to our family of 6. It was the ideal situation: right on the bay with a wonderful deck with ample space, a nice big TV room (for the ONE rainy day we had) and a prime location smack in the middle of a gazillion things to do. The owner(s) were extremely quick and responsive to my MANY inquiries, due primarily to a computer glitch which caused me to lose all my information. They never once lost their patience with me (I would have lost patience with me for sure). The photos shown accurately depict a lovely home that is very charming and carefully appointed--with every piece of furniture purposefully selected. You need to bring NOTHING--just your sheets, towels, clothing and food. They even have a high chair! And a porta-crib! It's all here. Love love LOVE this house. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. McKee for entrusting your wonderful home in us. We cannot wait to return. :)

There aren't enough adjectives to describe this "perfect" beach house with it's Bay Front location, great deck for sunning,grilling& enjoying the spectacular sunsets plus the fabulous beach furnishings & shopping close by. AND, the owners are TERRIFIC!! We were there only 6days & do hope our next visit will be 2weeks. This is a 5 Star ++++++ beach rental. Our Family voted it one of our best, & we've "beached it" in Florida&SC. The CBB Borchers Family from Charlotte,NC; Katy,TX & Springfield, Va.

We recently stayed at your GREAT townhouse while in VA. to attend my nephews wedding. Although it was a very hectic time running from rehersal dinners to wedding reception, we still had time to enjoy this beautiful home and its' great views. We had 8 adults and 3 young children with enough room for everyone to get ready on time. Mrs. McKee is also a very nice person and very helpful(kept us from getting lost the first day). Wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely incredible! That is the best way to describe your beach house. The view, sunsets, location, the deck right on the beach- everything was incredible! We can't wait to come back for our vacation next year. Thanks for letting us stay!

Absolutely Fabulous! The home is very well maintained and up to date. There is plenty of space for families with children. Our children were able to walk out on the deck and right down to the beach. An absolutely perfect location! The owners are the best and we plan to return several times each summer for years to come.

We booked this place for my in-laws, who were coming from Germany to spend the holidays with my family in Virginia Beach. There was plenty of room for a holiday dinner for the whole family of 10 and the owners had even decorated with a tree and more! The furnishings were cozy and functional. My boys preferred to stay there in the bunk bed room which made Grandma happy. The views from the master bedroom and deck are fantastic. Can't have a better beach location. The only thing that could have been better was if it were summer instead of December when we were there. Can certainly recommend!!!

Immaculate! Family friendly, very easy with young children. New furnishings. Breathtaking views from the house, and deck, especially the master bedroom!! Wow! Would recommend to anyone who loves the beach.

Great beach house in an awesome location. Very kid-friendly. A great find. The owners were very nice and had directions to local restaurants and stores. The pizza at the Italian place was really yummy! We will be back again soon.

Great house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Very nice upstairs bedroom overlooking the bay. We had 3 families with kids stay here and there was plenty of space. Double bunk beds in one room is ideal for kids. Nice deck for grilling out and entertaining. Would recommend anyone to stay here - owners are extremely pleasant people!
