La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, is a quiet Mexican city on the Sea of Cortez - one of the world's most beautiful unspoiled places left on earth.
This is intended to be our retirement home, so it has been finished and furnished with a long-term plan in mind. It's one of the few locations in and around La Paz where it's simply not necessary to have a car. The city is only 4 blocks away, the Malecon (waterfront boulevard and sidewalk) is even closer.
For visits to the stunning northern beaches, taxis are a considerably less expensive option than a rental car. All linens and home finishings are new and very comfortable.
This penthouse apartment occupies 2 floors and offers over 2,100 square feet of fully air-conditioned living space. It sits on the top of 2 floors of the four-story building, which is serviced by an elevator and is therefore suitable for the disabled. The first floor contains the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, master bedroom, master bathroom and a guest wc.
The second floor contains 2 bedrooms a flex room and a bathroom. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, in addition to a fan in the living room. It has been furnished with new beautiful furniture and accessories. In the living room there are 2 big sofas with an ottoman.
The dining room has a round, stone table with 4 wrought iron chairs. There are 2 bar stools against the kitchen counter top. Three spacious bedrooms; the master has a king sized bed, bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds and bedroom 3 has 2 queen sized beds.
Two outside terraces - which overlook the swimming pool, common BBQ area and courtyard - are accessed from the living and dining rooms. There is a DVD player and a selection of DVDs for your enjoyment, (Blockbusters is nearby should you wish to rent your own).
Additional amenities include everything you would expect: washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, fridge, stove quality tableware and the necessary cooking items, blender, toaster, coffee maker, fresh bed linens, hair dryer, bath towels, plastic glasses to take to the pool.
This is a NO SMOKING condo. One week minimum stay.
