We LOVED our stay here. It was very clean, comfortable, and sooooo adorable. Very charming!! It has an updated kitchen and bathroom which we loved. The dark wood floors and wood beamed ceilings gave it so much character. The large dual paned windows open up to let in a nice breeze. You're right above the market place which was so much fun to be a part of everyday. But for being so close to all the hustle and bustle it was amazingly quiet once the windows were closed. I loved being right there to see, hear, and smell all that was happening. So much fun to grab coffee and croissants every morning and explore the market. The area is very fun and alive so if you like that sort of thing you'll love the location for sure. We did!! =) The studio itself is very large and roomy feeling. I was there with my adult daughter and mother... and we had plenty of room. One bed/mattress is up in a loft area. Not gonna lie...it's tight quarters up there but completely functional and comfortable. My daughter and I slept up there and it was actually kind of fun...like we were in a little treehouse. The apartment is up several flights of stairs... so be prepared. We had no problem with it but just be sure you're ok with climbing stairs and hauling up luggage. My mother is 73 years old and she made it up and down just fine everyday...she just took a little longer. ;-) Ofer is extremely helpful and kind. The process was easy and he sent us everything we needed...lots of good info and tips. He also has an information notebook in the apartment. There is a phone number in there for an English speaking taxi service which was very helpful when we needed to get to the airport. Book this place. WE LOVED IT!!! This was our first trip abroad with children and it was made so much easier by having this apartment as a base. The loft space was perfect for my girls. The place was very clean and it was very nicely decorated. The apartment was close to the metro and we could walk to parks, markets, and Notre Dame. Great apartment and the owner was wonderful. I must have sent him a dozen emails before we left and he answered each one in a very thoughtful manner. This is the place to stay for families traveling to Paris.

The apartment lived up to its images and we felt we truly 'lived' in Paris for our 3 days there. situated just on the edge of the touristic part of town gave us a feel of the everyday Paris. we shopped at veggie stalls and the supermarket close by. The cute studio has an extra bed in the loft to accommodate our 3 kids, furnished with personal touches like a home. comfy place to come back to at the end of the day. It's our first holiday using VRBO and the owner, Ofer made the transaction very easy to deal with, Thanks Ofer for our memorable time in Paris.

My husband & I & our 2 teenage children loved this apartment. Fantastic location in a cute cobbled street with lots of great eating places, shops, supermarket really close by. Easy 20min walk to Notre Dame & easy access to anywhere via Metro. Apartment was as lovely as the photos, lots of character, high ceilings, the kids loved the "Mezz" mezzanine level where they slept & hung out on the internet. Owner really helpful& easy to contact, instructions worked well to get there from the airport & we were met at the apartment. Apartment clean, great to be able to do washing & enough cupboard space. Loved our experience here & would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at this apartment in October 2011 for 8 nights. It is a lovely place and the location superb. Rue Mouffetard is a street straight out of Hemingway's novel, truly the original Paris street. The shops, markets, bakeries and stores are all next door. Every morning, we would pick up hot, fresh baguettes and mouth watering pastries. The cheeses and fruits are all on display. It is a food paradise. We ate freshly made crepes from so many available creperies on the street. It is a very lively street, and there is lots of activity. We absolutely loved it. The apartment was lovely and provided all that we needed. We would highly recommend this apartment and if we are in Paris again, we will definitely be staying at this very same place. It was fabulous!

Lovely studio and great location

Thank you Ofer and Sabina for opening up your studio to us for our three week vacation. The studio is the perfect size for a couple with room left over for extra people. A real treat for us was to unpack our suitcases, open the windows and look down on rue Mouffetard, and we never tired of doing this everytime we came in from our day of sight seeing. We knew the area and wanted to go back to it. It's a busy street with lots to do and see. The location allowed us to walk to many of our destinations. A nice short walk to the Seine to take the BatoBus or hop on the Metro or bus. The markets on Mouffetard and Monge are great. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for the information you left in the "blue book", whether it was the english taxi company's phone number, suggestions made regarding restaurants etc, the cooler bag we used to take with us on a picnic to the Jardin Luxembourg. Thank you, you helped simplyfy our holiday. I do recommend this location to anyone looking to experience Paris at it's best.. If you are there on a Sunday, make sure to go to the bottom of rue Mouffetard (Sainte Medard church) around lunchtime and enjoy Christian and his group of singers for a few hours of authentic Parisien music.

Cute apartment but scary entry!

This apartment is not what we expected. It was cute and clean but that's it. There were few amenities- not even hand soap or enough toilet paper. And the manager never showed up at the agreed upon time. After we called she sent a friend... The hallway to the apt. was frightening. There were roaches and it smelled. It was also poorly lit. The stairs up to the apartment were treacherous and my teen daughter fell down them one afternoon! They were filthy and in poor condition with crumbling plaster and thick dust everywhere. NOT safe for older people or children. Also, it was incredibly hot! Yes, it was August, but since we don't generally travel with fans, it would have been greatly appreciated if one or two had been included in the apartment. The noise from the street below was also incredibly loud so it wasn't possible to leave windows open at night for air... .. The "kitchen" actually was more of a kitchenette with little work space which made it difficult to create any sort of meal... Needless to say, we were disappointed... It's very simple to make guests feel welcomed and this apartment failed to do that... Though it was cute the website was misleading...

We loved this beautiful, old, apartment right on the rue de mouffetard. One of the best shopping, food, and people watching streets on the left bank, grocery store right next door, open air market and Place Monge metro stop a few blocks away. We had so much fun wandering up and down the rue de mouf after dinner, stopping for crepes, or gelato, and then falling into bed. The kids loved the loft and we all loved having breakfast in the apartment with the windows open looking over the morning activities below. Well equipped with everything you will need, and it was a great bonus to have use of a washing machine and clothes line while we were there too. Be prepared for stairs, no elevator, but well worth it.

Lovely Paris Apartment

We stayed in this apartment in July 2011 with our two teen daughters. It proved to be everything as described on line and so much more. The apartment was perfect, especially for small families. We had plenty of room to spread out and the layout of the toilet being seperate from the sink/tub made getting ready in the morning a breeze. The apartment nicely furnished and very light an airy. We ate several times at the shops and cafes on rue mouffetard--we had crepes, croissants, wine, cheese. A block away is a picturesque square where we had a late lunch at Delmas and lots of fun peole watching. The apartment was 2 blocks from a metro station so sightseeing was a breeze. Many sites were very close like the Pantheon and Notre Dame and we just walked to them. I highly reccommend this apartment!

This was a great place to stay in Paris. My wife and I loved it. The apartment was clean and in a perfect location. Rue Mouffetard has everything right nearby: grocery markets, bakeries, wine shops, stores, bars, and restaurants. We walked to all the sights in the city without a problem. The metro system is easy to use too. I would highly recommend this property.

I lived in this apartment for a month and a half while researching the gardens of Paris. It was my goal also to imagine what it might feel like to live in the City of Light full time. I was devastated to have to leave this space, for neither of the other lodgings I landed in held a candle to it. I kicked myself for not booking earlier. Quel dommage! It's location on Rue Mouffetard is all you could hope for - boulangeries, patisseries, fromageries, restaurants, all at your feet, and in abundance. There will be times you'll have no inclination to leave your neighborhood! (recommend Le Mouffe' tot, a restaurant just across the street, where Michel, the patron, and staff made me feel like family. The apartment itself is beautiful, and as a designer, I was taken with how good it "feels". Exceptionally light with high ceilings, I found it to be uplifting to the spirit. The fact that you can see and experience all that is going on below from you window (and there is quite a nightlife!) is likely to draw you out. Fresh produce every day, grocery next door, and wine from the merchant just steps away means cooking in is a breeze too. I guess you can tell I LOVED this apartment! It is a bonus that Ofer, the owner of the property, is a lovely person. Thank you, Ofer, for everything!

Wonderful Paris flat

Husband, 15 year old daughter and I stayed at this wonderful Mouffetard apartment over a long weekend in January 2011. Location is perfect with markets, wine and cheese shops, and numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk! The apartment seems very spacious with the way they designed the mezzanine. The double-paned windows open to allow the wonderful view and delicious food aromas to enter the apartment. The pictures of the apartment are wonderful, but it truly looks even better once you arrive. We truly felt as if we were living the Parisian lifestyle for 3 glorious days! Ofer was so easy to work with and he replied to my pre-trip questions in a timely manner...Thank you, Ofer! We truly loved the apartment and it's location, you're very fortunate to have such a wonderful Paris getaway!

Apartment was as described, conveniently stocked with dishes and glasses for evening french bread, brie and wine (corkscrew provided). Owners and Receptionist worked with us at entry and our early morning departure 5 days later. Wi-fi (Skype to the U.S.) and international phone privileges were easy to use. Charming location, located on Rue Mouffetard. True Parisian experience for those who want to immerse themselves into the culture. Easy access to all that Paris has to offer via convenient Metro stops. Many sights and gardens within walking distance including the Pantheon, the Jardin du Luxembourg, St. Etienne du Mont, St. Sulpice and the Jardin des Plantes. Highly recommended to all.

Paris at it's BEST. My sister-in-law and I spent 5 WONDERFUL nights at Studio d'Azur Mouffetard. The street and apartment are everthing you expect when you think of Paris. We stayed in another apartment the second half of our trip and it was a lovely apartment, however, it did not have the COMPLETE PACKAGE that Studio d'Azur Mouffetard has to offer. We quickly became part of the neighborhood and felt like locals within days. I will HIGHLY recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Paris who wants to get a real feel of what our Paris dreams are all about. All the amenities are there. The stairs were not for the faint at heart but only added to our adventure (I would not recommend for elderly couples with heavy luggage). We could not have picked a better way to stay in Paris. We had a wonderful stay at Studio d'Azur Mouffetard! We spent 5 days in Paris with our two young sons (ages 7 and 11) and the place was the perfect setting for the 4 of us. Wonderful amenities and plenty of room. The mezzanine was the perfect area for the boys to "get away". Amazing wines, cheeses and breads are right out the front door. The convenience of the metro was great and Rue Mouffetard was a welcome change from the "tourist" areas. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this apartment in November 2009 with our 5 and 7 year old daughters. It proved to be everything as described on line and so much more. The location is perfect especially for small families. We found we hardly used the metro as we could walk to most places, even with those little legs. Under the apartment are a huge range of restaurants, cheese, bread and wine shops along with the local fresh veg markets. Heaven! The Mezzanine floor bed was a little of a worry to me until we arrived and the girls just loved it, perfectly safe. But best of all we were still able to watch tv and enjoy each others company without waking them. The seperate toilet is just fantastic and the apartment is so tastefully decorated. Our holiday in Paris was enriched by this gorgeous, perfectly positioned apartment. We would highly recommend it to one and all.

We had a very pleasant time at Studio d'Azur Mouffetard. We found the apartment exactly as described on the website, very nice and comfortable. It had everything we needed as a family of four. The children loved sleeping on the mezzanine. Also a great service from the owner who was very helpful in providing useful information about Paris. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place, a perfect base for exploring Paris.

A great apartment, really enjoyed staying there with my family in November. The recent renovation is very practical and tasteful. Very comfortable apartment, fantastic kitchen. Being a few floors above street level along the Rue Mouffetard, you get a real feel for the atmosphere of the street, but can also close the windows and have some privacy. The location is very central, we walked almost everywhere. Loved it!

Don't be fooled by the "Studio" in Studio d'Azur. This is a great flat in the heart of the 5th, right by the local gorgesous food market and in walking distance to many central areas of Paris. With the Mezzanie split, this flat feels big, light and airy. Its been furnished to be practical and to a very high standard with everything you would want from a city flat. We absolutely loved it.
