Located on South Cedar Creek at beautiful Lake Blackshear where the water level remains constant year round. Newly remodeled and professionally decorated 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin/cottage. Sleeps 8 comfortably.

2 car carport. Large open deck on waterside. Huge lot with lots of room for additional parking. Boat dock with cleats.

Boat ramp on property. Located only minutes away from 2 golf courses, Lake Blackshear Resort, Georgia Veterans State Park, and several restaurants.

The cottage can only be rented 45 days in advance of anticipated arrival.

Personal Currency Assistant™ 

$150/night (2 night min on weekends)    .. $750/week   $75 one time maid
fee.  We do not impose a security deposit but keep your credit card
on file to cover any damages. Monthly rates available upon request.
Credit cards are processed when reservations are made.  No refunds will be given
when cancelled.  However - we will issue a credit for a later date.
**3 night minimum on holiday weekends** 1 week minimum on 4th of July, 25% increas
on Memorial, Labor Day, and 4th of July.  Reservations can only be made 45 days in
advance of arrival.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Blackshear

We bought a weekend cabin here at Lake Blackshear in 1999 - fell in love with the lake and the people here and moved here permanently in 2001. My husband is a contractor and I am an interior Designer and licensed real estate agent. All 3 of our businesses coincied so well that we now have 3 vacation rental properties on the lake. We want people to come and experience the most beautiful sunsets in the world!The lake, the people, the amenities and quality of life are the best we have ever enjoyed. Come see for yourself. You may just want to buy a house and move here yourself!

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

Whatever water sport you like - you can enjoy it here! Boating, Canoeing, Kyaking, Skiing, wake boarding, tubing, fishing or just sitting on the dock. Just a short boat ride away is The Lake Blackshear Resort with 2 restaraunts accessible by boat. Sunrises and sunsets are a wonder to behold here at this beautiful lake.

We've really enjoyed our "wilson Ladies" weekend which used to take place in St Augustine, FL. This was even better that that far way location! The decor is charming, beds comfy, deck and dock relaxing, and the other amenities greatly appreciated. The neighbor's Jack Russell, "Gal" was an adorable companion and entertained us while we fished. And we cooked the fish the same day we caught them - on your dock - Yummy! thank you for a wonderful time. We hope to come again.

We had a great 60th birthday celebration at your darling lake cabin. We've always stayed at the Blackshear Resort but we've discovered a wonderful alternative!

We had such a GREAT WEEKEND! We were all so comfortable in the Chocolate Chip Cabin....it definitely has the "Mitzi touch" that we love. We will call you again as soon a a free weekend pops up!

We started off in a heat wave but you were "johnny on the spot" to make things cool again. Your Chocolate Chip Cabin is adorable and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the fruit for breakfast before hitting the golf courses. As the pillow states "The best thing about life is chocolate" and your home gives you that comfortable feeling.

We loved our stay in this house at Lake Blackshear. We hope to come back next year and enjoy the same. The kids really loced it and did not want to leave. We all loved having the dock right here at the house. Everybody loved being on the water all day and skiing. Thank you for letting us come into your house and stay.
