First of all, the views are amazing! The drive up the mountain to the house was really nice. We got to enjoy our day in the cities of Breckenridge & Frisco. Working with the property owners was so easy and I highly recommend this rental property.
Owner response:Thank you so very much for the lovely words. It is always so nice to read when guests enjoy our home, especially during the holiday season. Enjoy the new year and much happiness to you and your family.

I have stayed her twice and wish I could afford to stay more often. The home is very spacious but feels nice and cozy. My favorite thing about the house is the "wall" of huge windows upstairs and downstairs; they allow for an amazing view of the mountains all while staying warm and toasty :) The decor is great (LOVE the silver antlers Cristy!!) and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you could need plus a couple of items I forgot on my last trip. The location is quit remote but perfect for getting away from it all. One word of advice...it is a little tricky to find therefore I suggest getting up there before it gets dark. Breckinridge is easily accessible if you want to go into town, but our last trip we stayed in the house the whole time... ate, drank. and played boardgames and loved every minute of it. It is at about 12,000 feet so even though we went in Sept there was snow on the ground. Of course with the fireplace, heater, and heated bathroom floors it isn't an issue. There is a little town right at the foot of the mountain with a decent grocery store, gas station, and a couple of restaraunts. The owners are very responsive as well as the manager, who is nearby, to assist with any issues that come up. Bring your friends, a few bottles of wine, and enjoy this beautiful place.

We have stayed here twice in the past two years. Both trips were to get away and relax and this is the perfect place to do just that! We spent a good bit of our time on the deck looking for wildlife...and we were not disappointed. (for future reference, the birds LOVE any stale bread you have!) The kitchen was more then fully stocked with just about every item one would need to prepare a fantastic meal. Did not being a book to read while relaxing? No problem! The downstairs living area has a nice selection of reading material. Want to listen to some tunes? Again, no problem. A sweet selection of tunes is available for your listening enjoyment. I do have to admit, we probably enjoyed the gong a little too much. (It makes a great dinner bell!) We did make a day trip on each visit to Breckenridge. Wonderful little resort town. Be sure to check your calendar and try and visit when the aspen trees are changing colors in the fall. The views from the deck are breathtaking! Much Thanks to Cristy and Travis for all the information and hospitality!

I stayed at this house over a long weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Stunningly beautiful house that's secluded enough that you feel like you're the only one around for miles (even if you aren't really). It was everything I hoped it would be and MORE. I'll definitely be going back.
Owner response:Thank you for all the sweetness. We love to accommodate our Denver connection.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed for a week in July in 2010. Burrro Days were going on, and that was a treat in itself! The home is just that. A home. As soon as you walk in, there are little touches of luxury here and there. I learned how to use a coffee press, but it will still take some more practice to get it right... The home was warm when the weather outside was on the chilly side. A fireplace and heated floor did the trick. The kitchen is well-stocked, and, since I love to cook, I was quite satisfied with it. It was spotless. When we could not find the house (my fault), the owner was ready to assist immediately. I LOVE Cristy! We went to the Rocky Mountain Wildlife place in Gulley where we visited with wolves. Enlightening. There is rafting about an hour away, and Breckenridge is about that as well. There are hiking trails everywhere. I cannot recommend this home away from home enough.
Owner response:Always happy to hear that our guests enjoy the festivities of the "mountain" people. Also happy to read that y'all enjoyed the home, the area and the FEEL. Come back and stay anytime. Much love to you and your family.

We spent 7 nights the week of Christmas - 2010 in this wonderful home. We had a blast to say the least! The owners answered all of our questions plus gave us many suggestions/ideas on where to eat and fun things to do in town. We were not disappointed at all! We stayed on the mountain most of the time, going down (to town) only a couple of times, including church on Sunday. We encountered a lot of great people and we will definitely be vacationing here again! Thanks for sharing this beautifully decorated, comfortable home with us!
Owner response:Thank you so much for the kind, heart felt words. The goal of the house is to elicit the feeling of total relaxation and to enjoy all that nature has to offer. Very happy to hear that it was a successful trip.
