Yachats is a little known destination site for many families and couples that want that quieter time on the coast to walk the beaches, check out the tide pools and in the winter watch the storms
from a great vista. This house is built like a fort and the quiet is enhanced by the house being surrounded on both sides by vacant space.
This is the house that Grandma wanted for the family. This is a kid and pet friendly home. There is an outdoor shower for those kids and pets returning from the beach. An outside entrance to the fenced rear deck with shower and hot tub keeps the traffic out of the house. The house is fully carpeted (with sand colored carpet) to
provide that extra coziness.
Off street parking for over 6 cars/trucks, at least one boat and an RV up to 35' long. One garage is available for a large vehicle. An upstairs bedroom with deck that overlooks the ocean. Many times the grand kids used to throw their sleeping bags out on the deck so as to listen to the sea lions and sound of the ocean at night.
The house is located about three blocks from the center of the Village.
Two large windows face the ocean from the 33'x15' living/dining room.
Central electric heating keeps everyone warm as well as a wood stove in the living room.
This is a great vacation home for those who want to enjoy the Oregon Coast in comfort.
