Our home is located in NorthStar at the end of Martis Landing, a quiet street within the resort. It is a comfortable home that has been decorated throughout with plenty of mountain charm. The upstairs consists of the living room, very well equipped kitchen, and two master bedrooms, each with a bathroom. In one of the bedrooms there is a king bed and the other a queen. The downstairs consists of a family room, with a pullout couch, bathroom, and the third bedroom where there is both a queen and a twin bed. There is ample oudoor storage for skis, snowboards, and other "play" toys. A perfect home for two families vacationing in the summer or winter.
With the rental, all homeowners amenities are included allowing access to the recreation center,( a $2 per person, per day fee,is charged by NorthStar when checking in to use the facility) that is home to a workout room, an Olympic-sized pool, lap pool, and children's pool, three spas, game room and tennis and basket ball courts.
NorthStar is an all-season destination with a new village packed with restaurants, shopping and an ice rink in the winter. The resort offers downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and tubing on the hill. In the summer the ice rink becomes a popular destination for roller skating and evening concerts. NorthStar is also home to an 18-hole championship golf course, miles of hiking and mountain biking. All activities are fully accessible via the shuttle transportation which will pick you up at your door. Also available is the Truckee Trolley, another shuttle which provides transportation to Truckee, a charming Old West Town.
