Sunset Beach is blessed with some of the finest natural sand beach on the East Coast. There's no need for beach re-nourishment here! The beach access is just 50 feet from your door and you can walk the beach to Bird Island, the protected wildlife sanctuary with towering sand dunes and miles of undeveloped, secluded beach. Visit the famous Kindred Spirit mailbox or walk all the way to the Little River Inlet. The Sunset Beach Pier is nearby for the avid fisherman and you can walk to the nearby shops for an ice cream cone, bike rentals and water sports just a few blocks away.

If golf is your pleasure there are scores of courses within minutes and the nearby shopping and restaurant selection is fantastic. Sunset Beach gives you the option of quiet seclusion but it is also just a short drive to all the attractions of Myrtle Beach including the new Hard Rock theme park.
