  • Having stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, we know what we like ... THIS is what we like!! The gorgeous location and views, the absolutely stunning craftmanship and decor, AND the wonderfully warm and friendly hospitality from host and hostess, Peter & Rosemary, are just a few of the MANY reasons this adorable carriage house is THE place for us when we visit the Monterey/Carmel area! Sitting on the deck, sipping port and watching the lovely sunset ... Viewing the news on the HUGE television in the morning ... enjoying the wonderful stillness and serenity ...or, just hanging out and planning what to do next in the area is so comfortable and relaxing, it makes you not want to leave at all. AND, with all of the goodies provided, (including some of their fantastic beer), you almost don't need to leave ... they have thought of everything you could possibly desire ... and then some! We highly recommend this perfect place to even the pickiest of the picky and cannot imagine anyone NOT enjoying their stay and planning their return as soon as possible! (I know we are!!) On a scale of 1 to 5 stars ... the carriage house gets 100!! ... (5 stars are not nearly enough!)
