This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is a corner unit on the 3rd floor. It has amazing views of the mountains, night ski runs, pool and hot tubs in addition to the village which is within walking distance. Since this is a corner unit you also have a view toward the village.
This condo is light and airy in every room. The den has a large leather sectional that makes into a queen size pull out bed that will comfortably sleep 2 adults or several children and comfortably seats 6 adults. This allows everyone to sit comfortably and relax in front of the gas fireplace chatting or watching the new 37" flat screen TV. In addition there is a HD/DVR tuner for the flat screen TV, DVD player, Stereo AM/FM and CD player with speakers.
The dining room opens to the living room and comfortably seats 6-8 people with a bar that separates it from the kitchen. The kitchen has new pots and pans and plenty of cookware. The master bedroom has a king size bed with TV and DVD player. Both bedrooms have closets and an armoire, with drawers and shelves. The condo also comes equipped with humidifiers and fans if needed. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The living room contains a leather sectional with a pull out queen-size bed and comfortably seats 6 people.
Free WI-FI with wireless high speed internet through out the condo and complex allowing you to keep in touch with family and friends and even business. The WI-FI access in this unit is excellent with Dakota Lodge having recently upgraded with high speed access. It is the best and fastest in Keystone.
Dakota Lodge is located approximately 50 feet from a small grocery store, restaurants, Starbucks, shops, and ski rental facilities and is less than a 5 minute walk to the new 8 passenger gondola.
VIP ski check is available at the lifts for a small daily fee and there is a secure condo specific ski locker for your convenience. The key is in the condo.
Coming in time for the 2008 ski season is the new high speed gondola that will be located closer than before. This high speed gondola will seat 8 people and makes getting to the top of the mountain even easier and faster.
There is an onsite Concierge service available as well.
HERE IS A LITTLE KNOWN SECRET THAT ONLY LOCALS KNOW. After Keystone and most of the other resorts close their ski operations Arapaho Basin which is less than 7 miles from Keystone, will still be open for another 2-3 months. A-basin has some of the best skiing in Colorado.
We have negotiated an agreement with a local property management, one of the best and most professional, to take care of all your needs. No need to worry about renting from some absentee owner. We have taken care of it all. You will check in at our property manager's office and or pick up your key at a lock box conveniently located in the complex near a great coffee and breakfast shop known as the Inxspot. In the unlikely event of a problem there is a 24 hour hot line to their staff who will take care of any issues. This is a big advantage to you and separates us from most VRBO owners.
We recently replaced the carpet, added a slate entry, bought a new refrigerator/icemaker, added a new BIG leather sectional, and a large flat screen TV..

We are the Christman family, a very active family of four! The parents, Bob and Sarah, live in Henderson, NV and our son, Bryan, a graduate of CU Boulder (Go Buffs!) lives in Santa Monica, CA and works for an advertising agency. Mark is a Jr. at Point Loma University in San Diego. We love rafting, skiing, snowboarding, traveling, sailing and most other adventure sports. We love our Keystone condo and use it as a second home. We love decorating it and have taken care to make it beautiful for our guests.
We lived in Southern California for 25 years before moving to the Las Vegas area in 2007. We have enjoyed many wonderful trips to Keystone and love all there is to do in the Summit County area!
Why the Owner Chose River Run, Dakota
We bought a vacation condo in Keystone because son was attending CU Boulder and we loved to go to Colorado. Also, Bob and Sarah, are both native Texans and we grew up going to Colorado on vacation when we were kids. So, it was a natural for us to look in Keystone for a ski condo for the family and found out that we love the summer just as much as we do the winter there!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We love staying in our condo because it's a little bigger than most other 2 bedrooms and we have room to spread out and enjoy the space. We can walk to many great restaurants and go hiking and bike riding just out the front door. We love the many festivals in River Run Village and like being in a unit with it's own pool and spas for relaxation. In short, we never want to leave when we are at our Keystone condo!

Oh my gosh....what was our first thought when we saw your condo. The condo was more than we hoped for. We had the bewt time - skiing, showmodile, sleigh ride, dog sled, and much more. It was wonderful!!!
