Ok...I'll admit it...walking into this condo I was totally amazed at it's beauty. Tears actually came to my eyes! My husband and I needed a relaxing get-away from the daily stress of our lives. I've never used VRBO before..and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Joe & Rhonda made it easy. I must say, the photos don't do it justice. This condo was SPECTACULAR!! We came home refreshed and rejuvenated. We are looking forward to when we can return to the Gorgeous Honua Kai Resort.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Rhonda and Joe, We wanted to write this sooner but have been very busy back in CA. We want to thank you very much for renting your place to us for the week. We had an amazing honeymoon and definitely brought back the “Aloha Spirit” (I notice it most when I’m driving in L.A.!). The place was spotless and all the little things you guys did made us feel instantly at home. The champagne and Maui coffee were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. The snorkel gear really came in handy as well. We enjoyed the live music at Dukes and were happy to be able to walk to Whalers Village from Honua Kai. It was such a special trip for us and the condo was the icing on the cake. We see now why you guys moved to HI and we could see ourselves there one day too. We’ve already started talking about our next trip to HI! As we sort through our pictures and daily journal we get to relive all the magic that Maui had to offer. John and Sara Manhatten Beach (We then asked permission to post their email online) Please feel free to post online. Also, I want to add that we really appreciated you guys accommodating our (very) late arrival and checkout. It gave us many more hours to relax without dragging our luggage around on our final day.

We spent a week in Joe and Rhonda's condo and absolutely loved it. The unit is very large for a studio, the kitchen is supremely equipped for cooking and having your own washer-dryer in unit makes a huge difference when coming home from the beach. Joe and Rhonda also supply a couple snorkel sets, beach chairs and boogie boards which saves $ not having to rent them. They also threw in a few beach toys for our daughter to play with...thank you. Saw whales every day from the lanai as well. The resort itself is great. Very nice grounds, great beach out front, many pools and hot tubs and five minute walk from Times grocery store (more expensive than Safeway in Lahaina, but easier than driving down if you only need a few items). We had a great whale-watching trip with Trilogy and Palauea beach in Wailea was probably our favorite. It was a perfect week. Thanks again Joe and Rhonda!

From the moment we arrived, this place was everything that was described and more. Joe met us at the desk and walked us through everything we needed to know. the place was spectacular, from the cleanliness to the view. Everything was state of the art and in great condition. They even worked with us on a late checkout, since our flight was leaving later that evening. The place and the owners were both spectacular. Thanks for helping make a great vacation.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our first stay so much that we booked this condo again this year! The place is immaculate and we were able to whale watch from our lanai! If you need anything, the owners are only a few minutes away and are very hospitable. Property is at the north end of Kaanapali but still in walking distance to grocery store, shops, and beaches. We can't wait to return!

My two friends and I stayed in this lovely condo and we thought we had died and gone to heaven. That is how gorgeous this place was. We never dreamt it would be this fantastic. The condo is brand new and the view was magnificent. I will not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place to all my friends. We certainly will be back.
